We absolutely loved our stay here. We got there by taxi from Roma Termini and was a short drive. The hotel is situated walking distance from the Spanish steps and tons of shopping. The room was fantastic. We had the junior Suite (hotel gave us an upgrade for free!). The styling of the hotel was very modern and the amenities matched! It was so spacious. The room also had a super comfortable bed. Lastly, the tv allowed for easy streaming of our series and movie favorites. The staff was super friendly and helpful. On our last day we had an early flight and they even packed us some to-go breakfasts. Speaking of breakfast, it is a must!

We had an amazing stay at Tree Charme Augusto Boutique Hotel 🥰 From the moment we arrived, the hotel team was incredibly attentive and informative, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect. The service throughout our stay was truly exceptional. The breakfast was absolutely five-star fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented every morning. A special mention to Thomas, the night shift manager, who was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. Ostia could have nice promenade by the sea, but there are walls, some abandoned restaurants and beach facilities and a lot of trash. You can walk by the sea only on a small part of coast near marina. During my visit to Gaeta, I was truly impressed by several places in this charming coastal town. I especially loved walking along the seaside promenade and the beautiful avenue of plane trees—it was very relaxing and scenic. The old town with its colorful streets and historic buildings was also a highlight. For a quick bite or a casual meal, there are plenty of great options. I particularly enjoyed the local cafés and restaurants where you can try fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes. There are also small grocery stores nearby if you prefer to grab something on the go. Getting around Gaeta is quite easy. The town is compact, so most places can be reached on foot, and it’s very pleasant to explore the streets at a leisurely pace. For families with young children, I would highly recommend visiting the beaches, which are clean and safe. A walk along the promenade or a visit to the Spanish Fortress on Monte Orlando is also fun and manageable with kids. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for families to enjoy both sightseeing and leisure time together.

We stayed in Pomezia because of the short distance to Rome and FCO airport. There are also a lot of good affordable restaurants in Pomezia. Also, my son and I enjoyed the go-kart racing at the Parco 51 shopping center. There is also an outlet mall and theme park close by that we enjoyed.

We were there for 2 days before the cruise.

We were there for 2 days before the cruise. The restaurants along the beach seem to be tourist traps. The Sealovers House is where we stayed, was disappointing. No hot water and a broken elevator on the 3rd floor. The MyLord restaurant was a fail. My pasta was so salty I couldn't eat it. The waiter didn't care. I feel like the area is taking advantage of a good thing they have at the port, for consumers. On a good note, the waterfront is beautiful. Convenient for a cruise out of Rome. Good Luck!

We stayed in Fiuggi as our daughter was staying in the same area for her college football tournament. We ate at a few nice restaurants - bistro and GoGo. Would recommend visiting here for an evening meal. There is a bar across from the hotel - lots of different beers to try. Lots of bars and shops in close proximity to each other. Accessible by foot. Supermarket well stocked with lots of basic essentials.
