The location is excellent, few minutes walking from Aomori Station, close to local attractions and manu restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The staff was really friendly at check in, the room was spacious for japanese standards, the bathrub was a huge plus they provide bathing salts for a nice hot bath after a long walk day.

A really nice hotel close to the station (2 min), to the seaside and A Factory (3 min) and to Nebuta museum (1min - just cross the street). Room was a standard room for Toyoko chain, much bigger than standard 1 bed rooms in japanese hotels, also the bed is much bigger than other hotels. The comfort of bed depends on each person, Toyoko has beds more onthe harder side which absolutelly suits me. This hotel has a really young personal, who may lack of language skills, but they will try anything to help, are nice and professional. The room was really clean. And while my room has not an interesting view due the lower floor, it was really bright and welcoming.
