Fantastic gem in Ratanakiri. Greatest place that I stayed during my travels in Cambodia. Highly recommended. I am coming back. Beautiful bungalows set in a lovely garden. Great food and wonderful staff.

Wow I loved this place, so relaxing and so much to do. Mr happy is very laid back and friendly. We went out and ate food together, I did the trekking and had so much fun. I could not recommend this place enough - just book a room!!!

Mr Pov and his family were very welcoming to us in their beautiful home. Mr Por speaks excellent English and it made the evenings talking with him really enjoyable and helped us learn a lot about life in the area. He also came trekking with us as well as two guides from a village near the jungle. The trek was challenging at times but the destination was beautiful and the food and drinks by the river in the evening were magical.

If I could give Tribal Village Homestay 11 out of 10, I would. Delightful ensuite bungalows in exquisite gardens, excellent food available all day & evening in the charming restaurant/bar. Smey (the host) has excellent English, is a mine of information and he and his lovely family went above & beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, being attentive without being intrusive, and unfailingly good-natured. I was privileged to engage with his students at his free school (I volunteered), which was winderful as well as fun. Many day trips on Smey's motorbike (I don't drive) tailored to my interests (history, Tribal art & culture, nature & wildlife) both on and way off the beaten track ensured that I leave - very reluctantly- with a host of memories of once in a lifetime experiences. All homestays should be this good!

the excellent homestay was really great, the owners have 3 wonderful children. the family are friendly, helpful and kind people. Dinners are usually held according to the wishes of tourists. after a wonderful dinner, delicious exotic fruits are served accompanied by conversation. We loved the family very much. you can stay here in peace of mind. you can find everything you want here. The owner and his wife were super accommadating and helpful, he really knows how to host and not be in the way. Fixed everything for me although I didn't go trekking since it was dry season and 40 degrees outside. There's a nice café next door and a small shop up the street. Breakfast was really good, next time I'll come in high season to try dinner as well!

The host and the family were so sweet and friendly. Very helpful with everything and plenty of tours on offer. Very comfortable and clean room. We felt very at home staying here, good food, lovely family. Would recommend this place to everyone!
