Super new hotel. All rooms are modern and well equipped and look fine. Big and spacious bathrooms with large shower. One of the few hotels in Kazakhstan that we stayed at, that provides free bottled water. The staff is just lovely, was always friendly and made an effort to help us. Definitely the best hotel staff we met in Kazakhstan. The location is great, not far from good restaurants and places to see. There is also a nice cafe downstairs where you can get breakfast.

The lady on the desk was the best hotel staff I have ever seen!!!! She was very helpful. The hotel rooms are way more bigger than the pictures. We had a kind of a suite with a living room, bedroom and a little room/closet for the luggage. The 1 person beds were large enough. We liked the room very much. The rooms are clean and there is an elevator to reach the rooms.

Its a very basic hotel. Rooms are clean, beds are okay. Price wise is quite cheap. I would totally recommend this hotel if you are on a budget. The front desk staff is also very nice even with the language barrier she made an effort to use google translate to acommodate us

We were in Aktau for 3 days.

We were in Aktau for 3 days. I liked this length of the trip as I wanted to relax as well as see around. So we relaxed on day 1- enjoyed the spa and other facilities in the property and had a pleasant short tour of the city. Day two we took a day tour to popular mangystau desert in this area. ( people spend more time as per their liking but I was satisfied with the day trip). Day 3- again we relaxed - used spa and jacuzzi from the property and spent a lovely evening on Caspian sea, taking a boat ride, walking on the beautiful board walk along the sea. This was just a good combination for relaxation and exploration.

The rocky pathway and walking next to the beach was...

The rocky pathway and walking next to the beach was fantastic. There are many monuments to visit and explore, some inside parks. Unfortunately the Museum was not open on Saturday, 23/02/2024. This was very disappointing since that was one of the reasons I travelled out there. I was also surprised that it was closed since the day before was a national holiday and in most countries people usually make a touring weekend out of national holidays. I also was not the only person who arrived at the museum to find it closed. I would not recommend going to the kinoplex mall unless you're going with people who want to ice skate or buy souvenirs at the entrance of the mall. Only one of the shops I visited did not try to overcharge me for my purchase. Other than that I would also highly recommend going on a 'safari' to the 'alien landscape' called Byzherek (not sure I spelled that correctly). The tour group was a massive amount of fun and the tour guide tried his best to explain the history to me in English. I also met many fantastic local people who were on the tour. The tour company is "mangystau_safari" on Instagram and you can message them on whatsapp. They reply in English.

Aktau is located in western Kazakhstan on the eastern coast of the Caspian Sea. It has gorgeous beaches and is a popular vacation destination in the country. People can enjoy water sports, including windsurfing, kayaking, and jet skiing, while relaxing on the sandy beaches next to warm waters. he beach season starts at the end of May and lasts through September. In the center of the city, the coast is steep and rocky. It is a favorite location for cliff-jumping enthusiasts.
