Elita could not have been a better hostess. So sweet and kind and it made me feel very safe that she was there. I am a solo female traveller and a woman run house.is nice. I had a rather large private room with a shared single bathroom. Good location if you're trying to explore north Latvia or even just get a good Latvian country side experience. There is fyorest to walk around, but be cautious of snakes although I didn't find any. This is a good place also to get into a book you're reading and knock out a few chapters while drinking tea or wine. overall I'd be happy to stay here again.

Place itself is very nice. I was able to prepare the sauna for ourselves and enjoy it together with pond and cook some meat right between the two. The house itself was nice and you could really enjoy the nature. The host was very kind.
