Floating houses are a great choice if you need accommodation for 3 people or two couples. Each home has 2 separate bedrooms, comparing to open-space camping houses where you need to climb the stairs for second sleeping place. Nice and calm ambiance, it was very quiet during our stay, could not hear any activities around the lake. Direct access to water, possible to fish from the terrace, barbecue facilities everywhere.

We booked tripple room, so our room had a private entrance. There is a common use kitchen in the property, also a BBQ zone. Breakfast was very good: food was fresh, portions very big. The owner is super helpfus, gave us lot of tips what to do in Ventspils, where to eat etc.

The self check-in was easy and room was tidy. There was hair dryer, toiletries, tea and coffee available. Breakfast was great and the staff were kind and responsive. The location is very central with shops, cafes, pharmacy and different attractions nearby. But despite that, it was quiet in the hotel.

Quiet, beautiful place. Beach is 15min away. There are three small dogs in territory, but they are cute and friendly. :) Our kid loved trampoline and playground. Doesn't need to wait in common areas like bathroom or kitchen.
