It's a 4-star hotel, but it's actually 5-star luxury. It's part of a larger complex that includes a casino, a restaurant, and probably other facilities that I didn't visit. The room is super clean, quite spacious, and very quiet with a great view on a wide green area. The bathroom was very nice, with a shower and a bath tub. My baby enjoyed her private swimming pool immensely! The location is just off the highway so it's very easy to reach. I also took the car for a 6m drive to a Halal restaurant, so the city is just a few minutes of driving. The Wi-Fi was open, no password needed. This is really convenient. The breakfast was superb. Very spacious restaurant and enough variety to satisfy all tastes. It's also available till 10:30, which is unusual (usually till 9:30 or 10:00 in most hotels I've been to). All in all, I'm definitely coming back in case I come back to Hoorn.

Excellent attention to detail to make your stay comfortable. Your hosts are amazing. Elizabeth entertains at the piano with her great voice and is a wonderful conversationalist. You feel like family here. Our room had a large comfortable bed but little space around it, but the beautiful bathroom was enormous. Excellent bathroom amenities. Breakfast is personalized and delicious.

Die Port van Cleve is a cozy hotel situated in the center of Enkhuizen, along the harbor. The train station and tourist information office are a short walk away. All rooms have a private bathroom.

The person overseeing the breakfast was very helpful and kind. The breakfast had so many lovely things to choose from. The lounge was so warm and inviting. The location is perfect for walking.

De Magneet is located along the harbor of Hoorn, within walking distance of the center of Hoorn. The hotel has a private parking and an intimate cafe.

Hotel Medemblik is in a charming town set on one of Europe's largest inland lakes, the IJsselmeer. Ideally located in the center of the city, you can walk around the town and park your car for free.

Breakfast was fantastic and the room was modern. Nice neighborhood with good restaurants and grocery store within walking distance.

Hotel Oostereiland is a renovated prison building, boasting a unique Markermeer lake-side location. It offers rooms, some set in the former jail cells, with free Wi-Fi and private bathrooms.

Inside the same building a very nice cinema, brasserie and museum. Very good breakfast. Fantastic look over the harbor.
