One of the best breakfast I have ever experienced. So much choice and variety, really nice! Also the hotel is beautiful. We had a room with sea view and what an amazing view that was. So relaxing and calming. The beds were really comfortable. We had dinner at Beach Boy, also recommendable. Really want to come back here!

This was our second visit to this gem of a hotel on the border of Belgium and Holland. It's located near to Hulst and an easy drive to major cities. The restaurant serves good quality food both for dinner and breakfast, catering for my dietary requirements. Staff are very friendly and gave great service, even purchasing dairy free yogurt and other products from the local supermarket for breakfast for me. The room was spacious and very clean, comfortable and warm - it was very cold outside so it was lovely to go back to a cosy, warm room. There's all the usual things in the room; coffee machine, kettle, quality hairdryer, plus a fridge with water bottles added daily. A great place to stay!

Plenty to do and see, a visit on a Sunday is recommended but...

Plenty to do and see, a visit on a Sunday is recommended but crowded. All other days are less busy, plenty of paid parking available too. Poisson D'or is a must visit restaurant, the food is excellent and the owner is a great guy !

Cadzand-bad has everything for a great stay.

Cadzand-bad has everything for a great stay. There are wonderful beaches, but if that is not your thing, you can visit the nature park Het Zwin, bike on the many wonderful bike paths around the region, visit nearby Sluis or Brugge, or walk the many dune paths. I have been coming here since I was a child as I grew in this region, and have since visited many beaches in the Caribean, but I always feel that Cadzand-bad is the best beach!

Breskens has beautiful beaches, very close to our location, a nice harbor. The promenade is very beautiful, with plenty of shops and restaurants. Supermarkets near our location have a great choice; we had lunch in a very nice restaurant (Amuse). Breskens is practical to visit many cities around and to go to Vlissingen by ferry.

The rooms and accommodation are too poor to be recommended and to be brought u=in bij Booking.com By far the worst locationa ever where we stayed and we wil not recommend it to anyone it's theft to ask this money fort such a poor stay. All other locations where we usually come (5 places around Groede /Oostburg) ) were full as we travelled tast minute. They are palaces compared with this stay. Owner should be ashamed of himself, for this poor rooms at this nice location with such a great potential!!

Groede is a small town/village and has a quiet, authentic and friendly feeling. There's a museum about local life and a square with a nice church where the bells seem to ring every 15 minutes at points in the day and add to the mood. Ate at the Eetcafe Pension 'tOverleg and it was good food at a good price.

Sluis is full of discount shops and a real draw.

Sluis is full of discount shops and a real draw. The fish shop on the quay is a wonder of the retail world! It is a pretty town with lots of restaurants. We had an amazing sharing tapas in the large bar on the belfry square. The town is superbly located for exploration, especially by bike. The nearby Zwin estuary is a famous wetland habitat, and the beaches at its mouth absolutely beautiful. Bruges is only 15km away, Knokke [the Cannes of the North Sea] about the same, and Gent close enough for a day trip. Surrounded by some of the prettiest [and least demanding] countryside cycling in Europe.

Sluis is a nice town with loads of shops and only an hour...

Sluis is a nice town with loads of shops and only an hour and a half’s drive from Calais. Park the car and leave it parked as the bus service is extremely good and you can get to Brugge or Knokke Heist in no time and is very reasonable.
