We spent a few days at this campsite, renting one of the cottages available. The location is perfect if you want to visit places in eastern Lofoten. The campsite is big enough so you can easily find a place for you.
Our original cottage was on the side of the campsite and we had some problems accessing the Wi-Fi. The host of the campsite was amiable and communicative. Once we informed him about our issues with the Wi-Fi, he offered us a nicer, and better-equipped cottage where the Internet connection worked perfectly. Thank you once again!

Good and clean cabin. The kitchenette was really nice, cute and practical. The seating and beds were comfortable. We would definitely come back here again. The cabin was also prepared with really nice scented and moisturising hand wash, which I ended up purchasing myself later. The owner was nice and recieving on the night we arrived too. 😊

Located in one of the most scenic places I have ever sern in my life - the view to the fjords is breathtaking. We stayed in the apartment and it was very spacious and had all the facilities one could need. Just, no TV, but for us this was not even necessary in this wonderful place.

The house was incredibly cute and cozy. It was so nice to come to the house and start a fire in the fireplace after a cold day outside. It is also very close to a nice restaurant and cafe with beautiful views.

Pretty city in an amazing environment. We stayed here on a Sunday so everything was unfortunately closed besides the bar and turist shops.
I would have loved to explore more both in and around the city !

Beautiful home and the perfect amount of space for a group of 5 friends travelling together. Location was wonderful and several steps away from a grocery store (Coop). Kitchen was fully functional and a cozy living room to unwind in. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely town in the Lofoten Islands with a beautiful beach nearby (Rorvika). Great cafes and restaurants especially Klatrekafeen. Would like to have done some hiking nearby but we ran out of time and it was actually too hot!

The central location of Leknes on the Lofoten Islands was great for exploring the south and north. Shopping and dining were within walking distance of the apartment. I had a tasty fish and chips at the Diggs restaurant. The Bunpass grocery store had a lot to offer, and they had the best cinnamon rolls!

Please do not go to Scandinavia Hotel, the manager of the place is simply not human, did not compromise on a small mistake we made in the booking, they do not answer the phones and there was not a single person at the reception, simply a terrible experience.

Ballstad is a pituresque fishing village surronded by mountains. It's located right in the center of Lofoten which makes it a great base for those we want to explore the archipelago. Buksnes church is charming and a must see.
Also it's near to Leknes where you can find a lot of stores and supermarkets.
Ballstad will have a special place in our hearts as it was where we saw the most fantastic Aurora show which we were expecting for so long.

Beautiful drive off the main E10 road with mountains and fall colors. The most beautiful quaint village on the water. The cafe on site, the art gallery, the historical buildings, the restaurant, the fishing boats, the sauna…all of it was amazing and lovely.

Such an incredible place!
Such an incredible place! I visited in off season and two out of three days had good enough weather to explore. The third day had the most intense wind I have experienced, so it wasn’t safe to explore. I was happy with this experience but depending on what you want you may want to visit in summer, so that the trails aren’t so muddy. Even when they are, there is plenty of scenic routes to walk in between the towns!

The cabin offers stunning view of fjords and sea with snow on the rocks and balcony, this adds some magic to our stay. The build-in sauna is great family together moments in a heat & sweaty room, which was fun. We plan to visit other attractions nearby, but with the comfort and the view Lyngvaeret has to offer, we decide to relax at "home" and enjoy home cook meals instead.
