The entire experience was wonderful. Our Hostess was truly amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Every morning we had a traditional Norwegian breakfast that was perfect. When we arrived we were greeted by the staff and asked what time we would like to eat breakfast. Every morning we were given a special breakfast that was excellent.

The breakfast was perfect for our purposes. We really wanted to get up and get going so having the picnic bag prepared was perfect. The staff was fantastic. We came in late and she was very helpful. She answered our questions about the facility and the museum and some of the history. It was really special that we were able to see the museum on our own time without anyone else there. We got to absorb all of the history and the magnitude of what happened there. The room was great. Very clean and comfortable. We would definitely return again.

The location is breathtaking. Every little detail has been thought of and provided by the hosts. Breakfast was fantastic, featured local products. Rooms and beds were super comfortable. The windows, deck, and patio gave unmatched access - to the outdoors. Kitchen, bathrooms, laundry (in the bathroom) have everything one could need. There is a fun playground for kids (the adults liked it too) including a trampoline and zipline. Living area is comfortable and inviting. Feels like home. The hosts went to extra mile and found an acoustic guitar that we could borrow for our stay. That added such a nice touch. We rented a double kayak from the hosts and traveled the fjord along the shore. The water is so clear. Everything about this location is fantastic. I hope we have the chance to return. We were traveling as a family of six (two parents, four kids ages 15-20). We saw many 11 pm rainbows across the fjord.

Very comfortable hotel, centrally located, close to the bus stop, to the river Namsen, the bridge over the river and to the pretty Overhalla church from 12th century. There is a big supermarket nearby. The hotel is obviously not newly built, the rooms are very spacious (I was in a single room), beautifully furnished - both furniture and colors. The rooms are bright during the day and well lit at night, with many lamps. The water in the bathroom flows perfectly. Everything is very clean. The staff is exceptionally friendly. There is a lot of possibilities for foot or cycle tours within a beautiful nature. And for fishing, of coarse. Stayed here from Saturday till Sunday, because I was attending a concert nearby. The owner/host is super nice and friendly, and even drove me to the local grocery store, and later to the concert I was attending! Funny guy with lots of stories to tell. Tasty beer on tap, and a simple but very good breakfast the morning after. Very comfortable bed! Beautiful location in the Norwegian countryside.

Stayed here to work a flight and was delighted by the...

Stayed here to work a flight and was delighted by the location, staff and bar options which are open until 1am, and a restaurant open until 9pm. Fab when options nearby are limited. A lovely garden around the pool area, peaceful and tranquil given its a 4 minute walk from the terminal. Bed were a little soft but once youre in you dont notice. No slamming doors which is a huge bonus in my book, and although no tea and coffee in the room, theres a station for you to make your own for 10sek. Breakfast is plentiful with a huge range of hot and cold options and also, an incredibly peaceful experience. A lovely little gem!

The 'Bakeri' over the road from Tino's Hotell is well worth...

The 'Bakeri' over the road from Tino's Hotell is well worth a visit. It's very expensive, but the cakes and food are delicious. For evening meals, we recommend Tino's - which was exceptional and fairly well priced. There are plenty of buses if you're on foot.

I was at Hell to see the Hell round for the world rallycross...

I was at Hell to see the Hell round for the world rallycross championship, I spent Friday exploring Trondheim as well, the town was great and very easy to get to, with the frequent running train service from the airport to there, in Hell. There’s a decent shopping centre and a few little fast food restaurants, an iconic place to stop and visit is definitely Hell, gods expedition, don’t forget to get your passport stamped at the hell post office too!
