The Mayana Resort is a very beautiful place, great location in a quiet area but close enough to everything in Panglao and local beach within walking distance, the rooms are amazing very clean and modern, Best hot shower I've had at any resort in the Philippines, beautiful spa and swimming pool, fantastic staff, amazing food and drinks available great prices very affordable, I highly recommend staying here if given the chance, I know I'll be a returning guest whenever possible, family friendly.

A unique hotel with 12 rooms that all you don't need to wait facilities with others. Pet the assistant manager is extremely helpful with patience to guests. Extra credits given to its chefs that cook all meals in high quality, weekend Saturday happy hours is excellent during my stay. Amazing stay in this freshly renovated eco resort and we loved the decoration and ambiance. I recommend the people to go there to be far from the usual tourists busy and noisy areas of bohol. The dry toilet is very "eco friendly" and no smell at all, we loved it !!

Everything about the property was fantastic. To be honest, we didn’t want to leave the premises to do anything but experience it. Everything has been considered in the build of the property and staff went above and beyond for hospitality. Specially want to call out: - Danish, the General Manager, who got to know all of the guests and made sure we all felt at home - Dondie, the fitness instructor - Carl, Christopher, Lym who were always there when we needed anything big or small - The recreation team who seem to work overtime for entertainment

Very nice and quiet place, perfect hotel to escape all the noise and relax. Breakfast was nice, hotel restaurant serves delicious food. WiFi works well; gym has a beautiful view and has enough equipment to get a workout in; spa was great and very good pricing; game room is also located in a nice place - beautiful views while playing some games. All the area is looked after and very green. Cave was a nice experience. Tennis court is well looked after. We loved our stay and wish we stayed a bit longer.

We celebrated our anniversary and the staff made it extra special. The staff were amazing, super professional and excellent client service. We loved the bed and the sea view. The property is well maintained. The chef Rex was very friendly at breakfast. The reception staff were amazing especially Girlie & Erika. The team helped us book fast ferry tickets for our travel to Cebu. Our waiter at dinner was amazing we unfortunately didn’t get his name but his service was super professional.

It's a perfect place. a hidden gem of a place. It's a good place to forget everything in the world and rest about once a year. The owners Fred, Alodia, and Brestine, and the staff are all kind, so I feel like I've been really well rested and treated. If we recommend too much, it seems like our own jewel-like resting place will disappear... Nevertheless,I really recommend this place.

There is really not much to do in Tagbilaran, only a statue, two churches and a square. It can be seen in an hour (and a half). Clubs, bars and restaurants have moved from Tagbilaran to Panglao - because that is where the most tourists are. If you want raw real Filippino life and people looking at you in surprise because you are there, go to Tagbilaran City, but leave your valuables in the hotel.

We had planned to do river trips but instead just did our own paddling on the river. The river isnt particularly special and it seems there are limitations to the trips (e.g. frequently you cant swim at the falls). It does have a strong current so be careful when in the water. The hotel provides a guide in case of difficulty. BTW: The Tarsier "sanctuary" was a massive disappointment. Just a photo op. Chocolate Hills platform gives a lovely view, but an hour is enough. We did these on the way to the hotel, so saved a day trip.

The ideal place [for me] to just getaway and relax. Plenty of natural shade at the incredibly clean beach, lovely people, and very 'laid back'. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will definitely return. Small town but interesting with all the normal interests at the local market.

The advantage of being self-catering is that you can get European bread and sausages. As well good foreign Restaurants. Except for the area in Alona, ​​riding a motorcycle is very safe. Snorkeling and diving in Balicasag and Napaling Reef nice. Bohol daily trips anyway

An incredibly beautiful property—the garden is a delight. Lhoy and Jean welcome you to their home and treat you like family. Jean is a fabulous cook! Lhoy is very knowledgeable in horticulture and the healing properties of local fruits and herbs. I highly recommend the LhoyJean Garden Hostel.

The pool was great, the place was run down to some degree, the foot bridge at reception has a rotting timber section in the footings, making for carful stepping. the rooms needed maintenance. The restaurant was not good, management has cut staff to a bare minimum, resulting in cold food and extra long waiting times. I would not recommend this resort to any one until the lady owners start to care for the place and make as it was when the male owner was managing the place…sad to see such a nice place run down like it is,….enough said…

there are many nice beaches with clean water for the kids to play in. lots of interesting places to visit on Bohol and its only a short drive to Alona beach where there are plenty of eateries, bars and live music, there is excellent diving trips for experienced divers, hire a motorcycle and get around and see plenty, all in all an Island that is well worth a visit

Loboc is a beautiful place to stay because most of the well known attractions like Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruises, and the famous Tarsiers are all so close to Loboc. If you intend to see those places, Loboc is the best one!
