Lovely hotel great views sat on the balcony , apartment was great with plenty of space and could also enjoy the lovely selection for breakfast , either sat inside or by the pool, a great base to explore the whole island , will stay here again 😀

Excellent hostel in the best place in Vila do Porto! Very clean, amazing friendly atmosphere, great WiFi, hot water, good breakfast. I love everything and will stay again on Santa Maria Island as well as on other islands!

Guys, I'll just repeat my 2018/19 review. A great hotel, comfortable clean and great rooms, good view, good location, absolutely fantastic knowledgable and warm staff which reacted quickly to every whish, question problem. Also great laundry service. What can I tell you? Book it

A wonderful location to stay, we liked everything! Beautiful big house, has all the facilities you need. Nice welcome present with some bread, butter, cookies, much appreciated. Very quiet and peaceful. In the middle of fantastic nature of Santa Maria island, a convinient base to stay for hiking. Also just 10 minutes walk to the village Santo Espirito which has a grocery, bakery and 2 cafes.

We enjoyed our stay on this beautiful Island, the people, the beaches, the quaint town with its lovely cafe's and restaurants. We had a great taxi driver Roberto Moniz who spoke English and took us on a day trip around the island, he gave us lots of information and historical facts. We went diving with Haliotis Aventuras Submersas and it was magical swimming with 30-40 mantarays. Hotel Colombo was nice and included breakfast. We stayed 4 nights because of flights only twice a week but did need a couple of extra days to explore. The proprietor at the local pub knew a lot of the Island and its history, great place to eat and drink. We went at the beginning of August and the weather was great.
