I was very pleasantly surprised about our stay in Elaf Al Taqwa hotel. The hotel is very clean and modern, and it’s located right next to a gate to Masjid Nabawi. The staff is extremely nice and always ready to provide any need one might have. We were even provided with power socket adapters since we didn’t bring one to fit our chargers. I would personally like to thank Maymouna the lovely receptionist at guest service, she made sure every need was met in the nicest and most efficient way possible. She was very pleasant to conversate with and made the whole experience including checkin, stay and checkout very smooth. We were also offered late checkout to properly get ready for Ihram before travelling to Makkah. And I would also like to thank Sharif from room service staff who did an amazing job cleaning our room and bringing us anything we needed. 100% recommend

It was an exceptional experience, though it was extremely crowded hotel and area, they still manage to respond to any request promptly. They’ve 8 elevators, six always on, that helped a lot The single beds though they’re smaller than usual but extremely comfortable, I got great sleeping time without noise. The pillows are very comfortable as well It’s 10 mins walking to the holy mosque for men and 7 mins for women. Staff is not very friendly I didn’t try the food there but everything else and based on many experiences in this area, This counts as from the top three for sure for me

Staff excellent. The Royal Suite Room was HUGE with 3 extra bedrooms attached to a large Master Bedroom with living room and dining room with 5 toilets. Enough to accommodate 6 people comfortably and privately. We are just off for their Free breakfast and will add more 😎🙏🤲 Right next to the Haram (2mins walk) and boulevard of 5* hotels and restaurants. Superb location 🙏🤲🤲

The sea view was just soo relaxing and watching the sunset lazily from the room was too good after a tiering 1600km trip. We had a good rest at the hotel. The kind recepcionist cartered us with lots of useful tips for the area. The room was huge, had everything you might need, the internet was quick, the playground good. All was clean. We enjoyed our stay!

As a no Muslim this was a great experience, spend one day, one night which was more than enough. We could not enter the mosque but the hotel gave us full view of it which it was fantastic. Respect their culture and wear long trousers as a men, woman full coverage even your head.

We came basically on the trail of Lawrence of Arabia, we were lucky to stay at Retaj Hotel close to the harbor and old quarter that we could easily walk to it as much as we wanted. However it was mid June during Eid ul Adha, shops and visitors attractions were closed, the city was quiet, and the heat and humidity kept us indoors most of our three day visit. Still it was fascinating to be in the city at this time, we didn't see much of Yanbu to make a judgement but we were grateful to make it, as it was our jump off point onwards to Umluj as well. The Yanbu Airport, by the way, was very impressive, and I love the long avenue of fire trees out to the highway. Neat and green landscaping made a great impression for us first time visitors. All in all a memorable visit to this part of Saudi Arabia, before we final exit as expats to start our retirement.

A two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is located in a nice new neighbourhood close to Al Rashid Mega Mall. The apartment had its own designated parking and was around 10 - 15 minutes drive to Masjid e Nabwi by car. The owner a was a polite gentlemen who took us through the apartment before handing over the keys to us. The apartment also had a massage chair and had everything that you may require including a stacked fridge, an iron and iron board, electric kettle, utensils, crockery and washing machine etc. A definite value for money for 4 - 5 people and highly recommended.

I stayed 2nd time in this facility. Last time I gave overall rating 5. But this round my over all experience was good and I gave Rating 8 They improved a lot as compare to last time. I recommend this facility if you are visiting Madinah for any purpose . It is not far from Masjid Al Nabawi hardly 20-25 min walk and you can go by car also.

Just wanted to add, if possible, to fix the location on booking.com. when I shared the location with the driver through booking.com it took us to another location and had to search again in google. and to also, if possible, to fix the name of the hotel in English. it's not matching the Arabic which was the reason of the confusion in the location. The residence was beautiful, impeccably clean, and well-maintained. The room was spacious and featured a cozy Arabic sitting area (majlis), adding a traditional touch. The furniture was plentiful, offering ample storage space for your belongings, and was of excellent quality. The room also included a desk, providing additional convenience. Overall, it offered great value for money.

Can you say anything bad about Medina?

Can you say anything bad about Medina? The people are soo nice. The Mosque takes your breath away no matter how many times you visit it. The sense of peace uplifts you. The 3D history in the museums are well done and should be visited before you visit the Rawdah and other sites. The calmness of the city even during the hustle and bustle of the marketplace around the Mosque is something to be witnessed! Alhumdulillah to visit Madina 3 times so far and I want to come back 100 more times if possible.

A drive from Jeddah to Al-Ula via Yanbu was excellent. Although was confused of the Speed Limits as many were not following it, | The landscape along the drive was phenominal. Al-Ula as a city was enjoyable with friends and family although it is recommended to visit the city during winters rather than during the summers. Hotels might be expensive so plan & book atleast 2 - 3 months in advance. UNSECO Sites were well maintained, explained and well within the traveling distance. Easy to access and the staff at the visitor centers were friendly and helpfule. They were patiently answering all my queries. Some of the restaurants mentioned on Al-Ula website are a must try although they might be expensive. The ambience and staff performance was excellent. Food was tasty and mouth watering.

Getting there by car is a long journey from Riyadh. The city has some well developed areas by the royal commission. Those areas are beautiful and clean and well maintained. Rest of the city is very simple and basic. Waterfronts are good and beaches are clean.
