The room is excellent. Spacious, nicely decorated, very good shower . Also very quiet. I as at the 23 rd floor and I had a nice view. My bed was a king bed and we had a desk to work. Very kind of the hotel to offer a different tea every day at the room. The breakfast buffet also very good and we already sat outside, which was very pleasant. Good cost benefit!

The staff at Hotel 81 Elegance were very friendly and the house keeping staff very consistent in the quality of their work, which was very high. I wish there was a desk for me to do my work on, but every thing else was top notch. I had a peaceful rest every night and I couldn’t hear anything next door or downstairs. The room was well lit with thoughtful controls to light the room for different needs and the sheets very clean. The house keeping staff gave me lots of mineral water, coffee and tea every day and topped up my towels. I felt very looked after and enjoyed my stay here very much. I will be coming in September again and hope to use your services again. Well done!!! It was a great experience.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was perfect — clean, comfortable, and I especially appreciated the firm mattress, which made for a great night's sleep. The location was amazing with a Starbucks right in the lobby, and it was incredibly convenient to be able to walk straight from the hotel into the mall. Would definitely stay here again!

There is so much to see & do in Singapore, 10 days wasn't...

There is so much to see & do in Singapore, 10 days wasn't enough, especially if you want to do all of the Mandai parks. If you want to do the parks, go early if possible as it tends to rain/storm more in the afternoons. We didn't do half of the things we wanted to as we ran out of time. We mainly used the MRT, which is amazing & the longest wait for a train was 5 minutes. They all interconnect, so you can pretty much get anywhere using the MRT & it's pretty cheap too. The Hawker Centres are fantastic if you want to eat cheap whilst there. If you eat at restaurants you will need a lot more money as they are expensive. We loved 'Sushiro', which is just outside Singapore Zoo, though they have them in other places too. We also used 'Grab' taxi service which was great. We took some currency with us for the Hawker Centres, but also used a 'Wise' card for the MRT etc. You can convert your currency at a good rate & won't get international transaction fees like you do with many debit cards/credit cards. It's easy to top up & great whilst travelling overseas.

JB has something for everyone and it can be extremely fulfilling if you planned it carefully. Shopping is aplenty and it depends on what kind of shopping you want. For mid - high end, go for Mid Valley Southkey. You also can't go wrong with most Aeon Malls for a good variety of shopping and food. I have three boys so our itinerary centred around thrill-seeking: 1. Go-kart at RDU, Sutera Mall. The younger kid had a safe experience, while the older ones + adults got to live our their Fast and Furious dream. 2. ATV Park at Ekoflora (@atvparkjohor on Instagram) was amazing muddy adventure - fair warning: you are bound to get dirty so come with old clothes! For something for everyone, we loved The Hidden Farm at Mount Austin! A petting farm with friendly staff, well maintained space and a good variety to look at including reptiles. My favourite food find this trip were: - The Founders for amazing pizza and cinnamon rolls at MidValley Southkey - Woodfire for burgers - Nasi Kandar Hijrah - Rumah Singgah Roti very near to KSL had wonderful Roti Canai, Roti Sarang Burung with rendang in a quaint setting - Dapo' Khaleeda had great nasi lemak and with delicious ayam goreng and satay. Transportation everywhere was easy with the Grab app and I could easily select for 6 seater car option. They come quick too, so only book one when the group is assembled at the lobby.

Nagoya Shopping Mall is full of perhaps nothing else that cheap imitations… if that’s what you are keen for. But once you venture around the fringes of Nagoya that’s where the attractions are … the simple local fare and stores are a delight

Many restaurants available nearby hotel, so the traveller guest can select the place according to his/her individual choice of food. I generally used to eat at restaurant OSMAN OR restaurant HABIB. Try to have some Food/Beverage at Restoran BANAFEE Seri Alam near TODAY's mall. One can buy fresh fruits and other necessary shopping at TODAY's mall nearby. Pharmacy shops are available nearby in walking distance, which is very good. Possible for the travellers to connect to other cities in Malaysia from TBPG (Terminal Bas Pasir Gudang).

As well as being a lovely holiday destination in itself, Singapore is a great stepping stone for travel to the rest of south east Asia. It’s very clean, safe and quite westernised, with a touch of the wildness of much of the rest of Asia. Food is fab especially in hawker stalls, plenty of sightseeing, enough to keep you occupied for as long as you are there! Public transport is so easy, just use your credit card. Gardens by the Bay is amazing 🤩
