United StatesAn extraordinary place. We were sailing through St Helena and wanted to get off the boat and explore this remote beautiful island. During a 2 month voyage, this stay was the highlight. The hosts (Derrick and Linda) are possibly the most welcoming and friendly people I’ve met as I travel around the world. They are native saints, completely knowledgeable about everything on the island, and willing to help in any way. Breakfast lunch and dinner were over the top fantastic…I may consider returning to this remote place for a family vacation…there’s no other place to stay on the island nearly as nice and welcoming.

United StatesThe lodge was spacious and very clean. The location was outside of the main town, so we needed a car to get around, but it was very peaceful and quiet. A great place to rest and relax after a day of sightseeing. Debbie and Rich were fabulous hosts and took care of all our needs while we were on the island.

We visited Jamestown twice from where we stayed on the uplands at the Banana Tree Lodge. Lovely feel to it, and it was a pleasure to walk around and take some meals at the Harbour Cafe & Anne's Place.
