I booked the room for 2 nights but ended up staying for 7 because I really liked the place. It has everything you need - cosy rooms, great location, good facilities, and close to the beach. You can also rent a motorbike if you want. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had a small issue with the shower, and it was fixed quickly.

The resort is beautifully located in a street with many shops, 7/11 and massage salons. Also directly on the beach. The resort is clean, very luxurious, and the staff is amazing. It’s a new resort and you can sense they made the right choices. The bed is so comfy aswell. There is currently no pool, but you can use the one from the sister property. Only 2 min walk and it’s a nice pool. We have seen where the new pool will be build, in the middle of the resort and it will become quite big! Linda helped us with everything we needed and she also booked a snorkel excursion to Koh Rok & Koh Ha for us. We would recommend everyone to do this excursion, it’s amazing.

The communication before arrival was excellent. We were arriving late at night and they helped to make everything go smoothly with someone meeting us at the airport (for cost) but worth it. When we arrived they had upgraded us to a villa with a plunge pool which made our trip. The breakfasts were amazing! Played crib by the pool nightly to watch the beautiul sunsets. As the resort was big we did not have a lot of interaction with staff but everyone greeted you with a smile in passing. The location was perfect for us as we like to walk the long sandy beach and only a 20-minute walk to Saladan. We rented a scooter for 2 days. We are in the mid-'60s and felt safe driving the scooter which allowed us to explore the island and Lanta old town which was fun. We stayed 6 nights and could have stayed longer.

Pool suite was a perfect for our couple getaway. The hotel has 2 horn bills on the property and our room was right near the nest. It was a joy to see them fly by every day. Surrounding nature is gorgeous. Room overlooked the ocean, lots of trees around, nature sounds and stunning sunsets...all from our room's sun loungers. Staff was beyond helpful. Always cheery and the cleaning crew does a stellar job. Phone chargers were rolled up every day and everything stored neatly. We only had breakfast at the restaurant. It was well stocked and good by most standards.

Cozy & clean room. Well-managed swimming pools. Flawless gardening. Beautiful sight from beach (You can see Koh Phi Phi directly from Layana beach.) And you can see wonderfull sunset from beach. All hotel staff was super kind, and moreover they are all genius! What I surprised was, they remember every guest's preferences in 1~2 days (like beverage preference, seat preference... all!) Restaurant in the hotel was good, and you can also have a few more restaurants nearby hotel which offers you nice foods with afordable prices.

The staff were always smiling, very nice and kind. Massages at the spa were divine! You can hear the sea during it and it's the best experience. Sunsets are beyond beautiful. Lym's restaurant is a separate establishment, but works very well in symbiosis. Their food is amazing and we loved the prices too! Coconut just 60 baht, and same for the beer during happy hour. Escape cafe was also wonderful with their craft coffees. We wish Long Beach Chalet a long and prosperous business and we hope to come back one day.

We enjoyed the laidbackness of Koh Lanta. Klong Dao beach is recommended for families wanting to relax, but also close to island tours, Phi Phi islands and more. Klong Khong beach is recommended more for backpackers, and had a lively nightlife with the beach bars (freeway, and freedom bar were our favorites for the sunset) it was overall very relaxing, with very good local restaurants and plenty to do. We wished we could have stayed longer to explore more, it was an absolute paradise on Earth.

Gorgeous location.

Gorgeous location. Great for families or people not needing a party outside their door. Plenty of tour providers to keep your days well occupied (shoutout to Goodtime travel for being the best service I’ve seen in a long time). Highly recommend Mons cooking school too - so much fun. Take a trip down to beautiful beach for the most crystal clear water.

Various secured beaches, lots of greenery but also a little run down in places. Trips to Koh Rok and Koh Haa excellent for snorkelling. Nothing to see in sea here sadly. Lovely food from many restaurants. Klong Nin I felt was the perfect choice in middle of island, quite but lots to see. Easy to explore but tuk tuk more exp. National park and monkeys worth seeing as is old town. Drove to Lanta Noi across bridge, very rustic and traditional. I’d highly recommend spending some time here
