Absolutely fantastic hotel. Best I have stayed in anywhere in a long time. Next to a cute coffee shop (Mug Cafe) and walking distance to a lot of restaurants and stores. 7-11 around the corner for essentials.

Everything is perfect for resting and relaxing, the building and facilities is equipped with high quality products. Not too crowded place to stay and rest, staff also very professional service. The room is beautiful, very good bathtub, very good shower room, the bed is very soft and completely perfect to sleep, the AC is very good quality and functional.

We brought my elderly parents and stayed for three nights. The hotel manager was most accommodating, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring all our needs were met promptly. Since we had to store our luggage after checkout until late at night, the manager lent us her own key card to ensure we could access the front door. The rooms and common areas were impeccably clean. The entire hotel is decorated with graceful antique furnishings, creating a pleasing environment.

Lots of areas and beds for laying by the pool and beach. Close to night markets and downtown area. Small resort with spacious rooms. Too many. Where to start… Location is awesome - very close to the beach, quiet but there are restaurants and convenient stores nearby: Bed is very comfy; AC works very well; the bathtub and shower are amazing; service is perfect; breakfast is very healthy and delicious; etc.

She made sure our celebration was absolutely perfect, from organizing a beautiful beachside setup for my daughter’s cake-cutting to arranging a professional photographer to capture those precious memories. Namkhing also kept my daughter entertained throughout the celebration, making the day even more special. I truly can’t thank her enough for her kindness and attention to detail. The resort itself is stunning – the location is beautiful, the hospitality is exceptional, and the service is top-notch. The team takes care of every little detail, ensuring that guests are always comfortable and well taken care of. They also offer great activities around Pranburi, and they go out of their way to arrange transportation, snacks, and everything needed to make the experience seamless and enjoyable. Our daughter’s first birthday was truly unforgettable, and it’s all thanks to the fantastic team at Aleena Resort. The hotel is relatively new and has a modern design. Top notch rooms equipped with jacuzzi if you opt for the higher floors or a room with pool access for the ground options (It is amazing). It´s an expat, older foreigner hangout. No real action around. Beach was not usable around years end because of very high tide limiting access to beach. Beach walks were not possible. Walking along main street is a pain. It´s a tourist place. No real working life neighborhood like Bangkok.

This place is a gem.

This place is a gem. We visited in early November and were lucky to witness the Loy Krathong Festival. It seems to be slightly off the tourist route but it has everything we needed for a very memorable stay. There is a super weekend night market where you can try a variety of local food and snacks. There are a number of good coffee shops and restaurants serving local and western food. The temple on the hill is well worth visiting (the views are fabulous) as is the beach at Ao Manao. You can hire bicycles (50 baht per day) and cycle round the headland to the beautiful Kao Tha Mong Lai Forest Park, near Ao Noi. Altogether, Prachuap Khiri Kan is a really lovely place to visit.

Nice beach, some activities, Kajak, ATV, restaurant, massage places, some caves. Some hotels are specifically kids friendly. Good beach if you want to relax or for a family. Not really for party people, only if you bring everyone for your party yourself. Also bring Moskito spray!

You will need transportation—a motor bike or car—to explore the area. We were able to rent a motorbike through Palm Pran Resort. The roads are calm and navigation was easy. It was a fun way to explore the beaches and forest parks.

Beautiful beach when weather right. Lots of eateries/restaurants and resort beachside. Cabanas and seating areas on beach side, therefore plenty of seating space. Locals are friendly. Definitely no shortage of 711's. Can't wait to return, only 2 hour drive from Hua Hin. There is a temple on top of mountain easy drive up there, unfortunately did not make it this trip but definitely make it the first stop next time. Also a fishing port. Peaceful place to chill unlike the bigger towns.

The beachwork construction is a major problem at the moment. This may continue until the high season. There are almost no places to eat and the convenience store would not change a 1000 baht note. The beach is dirty compared to others in Prachuap.

It's ok BUT........

It's ok BUT........Owner needs to invest on better toilet seat, that fits,.Better shower, and a bin in the rooms for rubbish. 2 rooms had none. Plus no glasses . Expected more Pond outside is nice but the grounds of the hotel has rubbish n left over bottles n cans in it. Wifi is poor, drops in and out. Garden needs cleaning n pruning. Not too much to ask for , is it ? It's clear the owner has not invested in the rooms and gardens upkeep which is a shame.

Great food and beaches.

Great food and beaches. Sea is clean and food choices are great. If you want to have some time outside I recommend Baan Dum for fab food and location , Pran Buri for mangroves, monitors and real life of a fishing town. Not great for solo travellers I’d guess unless you find fellow country folk

Prachuap is a delightful Thai town. The esplanade along the coast is super for walking, running, cycling. Ao Manao Bay is fantastic for chilling in a beach chair, zipping on a banana boat, or eating good Thai food. The weekend market has many different types of food and cheap clothes and accessories. There are also a couple of quality non Thai restaurants in the town, back from the coast and some good coffee shops. The temple on the hilltop is worth walking up, except for the monkeys. Ao Noi Bay and cave temple is really good too. Lots to see and do in Prachuap.

Arrive at Lungcha homestay in the afternoon. Make a boat trip at sunset (starting point directly in front of the homestay). The lake with thousands of lotus flowers and birds is phantastic. They offer a 150.- baht dinner in Thai style (a bit oily, but good and plenty). Next morning do another sunrise trip: it is very different, because the light is different, there are more birds, the lotus flowers are open, the atmosphere is just magic. Costs 500,- baht for the boat (takes up to four people). Breakfast at Lungcha included and check out. There is not much to do or see near the homestay, perhaps you can stroll to the Ranger IV station in about 20 min, there is a small stripe of beach and access to the lake.
