I was honestly surprised by how attentive the managers were. They came every day to ask if we needed anything, which made us feel really well taken care of. The poolside service was incredibly fast and efficient. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

I don’t even know where to start. The place is so amazing! I stayed here for one night wishing I could stay longer.. The Garten is a layed back boutique hotel with jungle garden vibes. The room was spacious and super cozy with an extra comfy bed. What I really liked was a private terrace in front of the room to chill in the evening. Staff was really friendly and I liked how the manager really did his best to make me feel welcome, comfortable and „at home”. Breakfast was enjoyable - I loved the oats and fresh fruit selection, as well as the baked yummies. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had such a great time at Jambiani Villas - The amazing breakfast to start the day with fresh fruit, eggs to order, espresso, joghurt, pastries you name it. We loved the walk along the beach to the restaurant. The properties are all beautiful. We stayed in a 2-bedroom villa and it was just perfect - waking up with a view of the beach and ocean was amazing. Super helpful hosts who organized all our excursions and were always there to answer questions and help with transportation. We ventured out a few times to other restaurants near by for dinner - but the dinners at the restaurant of Jambiani Villas were the best- such great vibe and always changing daily special - made us feel like home.

The view is awesome! There are several places in the hotel to relax and enjoy the journey. The rooms are very beautiful and the service is excellent! The staff were very nice and caring. This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten track... a village, by the sea, with an increasing number of resorts being added. I hope it does not lose its charm to the crowds. This is a quiet, special place.

Beautiful beach, warm and calm ocean to swim in. Lots of eating options, amazing people. Yes, there are people trying to sell you things on the beach - but was quieter than other beaches (Like Paje) and they are all respectful.

This place is a gem! A new hotel with a big heart, right by the ocean, surrounded by peaceful gardens and a stunning pool. The beach is beautiful and the water very warm.

The beach is beautiful and the water very warm. Because of the strong tides there's only water in the morning and the afternoon but it makes the beach very interesting and beautiful and gives the oportunity to walk far out and find seashells and starfish. The only downside to the beach is the many very insisting sellers who make it impossible to go for a walk without being approached.

We stayed in a peaceful part of town, where there were noticeably fewer street vendors selling beads and souvenirs compared to other areas. This made the atmosphere even more calm and relaxing, allowing us to fully enjoy the local charm without feeling overwhelmed.

Just up the beach from Paje town, a little quieter but thats...

Just up the beach from Paje town, a little quieter but thats what was nice. Wandered to different restaurants along the beach for lunch and dinner. Limited during off season but enough open. We came via Dar Es Salaam airport and ferry. If you can't get an e-visa before arrival, plan 2hrs to exit the airport. We missed our booked ferry and had to pay again for the last ferry on a different company. Used Zanzibar Quest to book the ferry and transport with exemplary service and support via whatsapp and email. The new travel insurance requirement $50p/p on top of the $50p/p visa fee is a scam that mars the experience. The amount of times we had to show our passport and visa / travel insurance was reminiscent of the cold war. Inefficient and overboard. So if you can fly direct to Zanzibar and use e-visa or have patience and a loose schedule. The drive to the Page beach area took about 1 ½ hrs with the first ⅓ taking ¾ of the time with a typical african road experience. Get a good driver. Driving licenses are issued by testing payment of fee. The driver booked by Zanzibar Quest was excellent. Great beach, wind was consistent during the afternoon to either kite or cool down. Paradise …Jim’s, Salim, Irene and Juliane were exceptional...

Paradise …Jim’s, Salim, Irene and Juliane were exceptional always ready to help. They just couldn’t do enough for you. The reception staff especially Yusef were very accommodating especially as we arrived very early from Dar-es-Salam! They let us drop our bags and enjoy all the facilities until our room was ready! We had a wonderful stay in Paradise.
