I took advantage of the total quiet to have a relaxed, zero-effort vacation and was perfectly satisfied, but it would be a great spot to explore from with tours as well. Can't recommend it highly enough, everything you need in one place, like a mini-resort experience without the crowds and price gouging.

EVERYTHING!! When i stepped in here, all my worries faded away, no jokes😅 I absolutely LOVED IT. Before I booked this place I saw that all the reviews were 5/5 and it felt a little suspicious to me, but I kid you not, you will have ZERO complaints. It’s so beautiful, the staff are helpful, ambience is heavenly! Oh my! Please book the Oasis, you’ll be thankful you did. Amazing doesn’t cut it really !

ALL Seacliff Hotel - 5*- We choose a Not popular hotel by Israelis thanks to recommendation of a local driver Named Haji Casim who we knew from our last visit in 2016, Is an almost perfect hotel, which has everything. From an infinity pool, the perfect sunset, a state of the art and well-equipped gym, tennis, ping pong, volleyball, pickleball, squash, mini golf,pooltable catamaran, SUP, kayaks( at no extra charge). Horses and golf at an additional charge, We took half board the food was good with a great variety ,alltough my son is very picky the waitress aranged pizza for another restaurat in the resort(they have a few.. There are live performances every night from local singers to acrobatics show.. For us there was no point in full board because some days were not at the hotel during the day. The only drawback is that there is no perfect swiming beach to the hotel, there is an amazing view best sunset in zanzibar and the hotel beach is a 7-minute walk away (or a shuttle by the hotel.) This is the only disadvantage, but in our opinion the advantages outweigh all. But what makes a hotel great is the staff. Doing the extra mile to please you with a smile I commend them all. First of all steve chumba front desk manager. Leaving the hotel I forgot a sum in shekeles equivalent to 3,000 us $. In the safe box when I left the hotel. Mr Chumba found the money and arranged to send it to me back . Margaret ,Vumilia &princess From front desk. That arranged special surprise for my daughter birthday. Kristina at the shop. Aziz, ashira at the beach katamaran, Cliff at the pool. The staff make the hotel great .

I really liked that the hotel is right by the beach so i could go to the beach all the time and go for different activities. my room was clean. I was given 2 bottles of water each time they cleaned the room which is really good. Zanzibar was very Hot so i am very glad the room had AC and a ceiling FAN. I liked that the bathroom had a water heater because i prefer hot showers. The staff were friendly and nice from the cleaning staff to the receptionist to the waiters and waitresses at the restaurant. The swimming pool was clean and the beds by the pool were more than enough for the guests. the hotel is located in a quiet area so i got to rest and enjoy my vacation away from the noise of the city. the restaurant food was amazing. i liked having meals with the view of the ocean. Also as a solo traveller woman, I felt safe here. Lastly, my departure flight was late in the night so at check out time they helped me keep my bags in the luggage room so i could continue to relax till it was time to leave.

The location is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning beach lined with palm trees and a peaceful atmosphere that made the whole experience incredibly relaxing. I loved that it was never crowded, it felt like a private escape. The food was truly delicious, every meal was fresh and full of flavor. What really made the difference was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and warm, in a way I haven’t experienced anywhere else. Joseph and Jamal were especially helpful, and I’m grateful to all the other team members as well, even if I don’t remember all their names. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The service at this hotel is the best I have experienced. Khadija and Salim took great (and warm) care of us, following up on everything related to us and our stay. Nicole took care of any concerns with sincerity. Front desk Ali and the others, all so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Others, like Tunu, Abu Bakr, Washa and so many others that unfortunately would be impossible to mention all their names, made us feel happy, special and made our experience extremely enjoyable. Special mention to the impressive daily atmosphere and food of Kilimanjaro restaurant. Lovely hotel, on a beautiful beach.

There are a lot of hidden costs when coming to Nungwi.

There are a lot of hidden costs when coming to Nungwi. If you book any excursions, be prepared to pay double what you book for as they add on conservancy and entry fees on top. The beaches are not the crystal clear blue that you think. The beaches are highly affected by the tides. When it is low tide the beach is covered with seaweed and the water is too far out for you to swim. You only get to swim for a few hours a day when it is in high tide. If I were booking to come back to Zanzibar, go to Paje!!

Kiwengwa is an amazing place , only annoying this is the amount of African people that hassle you on the beach - men dressed as masi that are not from the the masi Maru tribe ( pretending they are ) and annoying you when you trying to enjoy a peaceful walk it is over bearing and no one wants that on their holiday - was most beaches in Zanzibar !!

Matemwe is a perfect destination for anyone who wants peace and quiet, but still has access to great activities. You can easily arrange dolphin watching and swimming tours – look for Captain Lucho, he helped us with everything and made the experience amazing. A beautiful and relaxing place to stay!

Kendwa beach was definitely the best beach compared to...

Kendwa beach was definitely the best beach compared to Nungwi, especially the south part. Even in low tide it was easy to take a swim. Also the beach here is wider and feel less crowded. As on the complete stretch there were many people trying to sell you stuff but on the south part not so many ”permanent” sales people other than the ones having sheds. The Maasai roaming around are friendly but just say no with a smile and most will not be persistent in their effort to sell you something..

This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten...

This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten track... a village, by the sea, with an increasing number of resorts being added. I hope it does not lose its charm to the crowds. This is a quiet, special place.

I loved that it was a proper reflection of the Island in that you took home the beauty of the place and kindness of the people. It was not loud or noisy and had very few touristy hotels and vendors hassling you
