AustriaComing from Europe we fell in love with Napili beach during our honeymoon many years ago. The Mauian Hotel was the affordable solution for us with kids. We also didn't want one of those huge, anonymous places to stay and were not disappointed. The Mauian is one of the most beautiful resorts we have been to: lots of huge palm and plumeria trees. The vegetation shows that it is not a new resort but one that has been there for many many years.
The pool in the middle of the resort is not the newest or biggest but everybody meets there for barbecueing and sozialising. The beach is just perfect! Many guests revisit and know each other - very familiar and family orientated (which also means quite a lot of rules like e.g. pool hours annd quiet time)
We absolutely loved everything: the torches, the room, the gardens, the beach, the security guy.....

United StatesWe had such a great time. I loved the fact that we stayed in a 2 storey villa, it felt intimate and had a family vibe. Both the swimming Pools and beach had plenty of space and we really enjoyed the hot tub at night! The location is perfect too with beach walks on both sides of the hotel. We stayed in room 234 and it was beautifully decorated and really clean. It didn’t feel old as per all the commentary I read online. I also tried the spa with a prenatal massage and loved it.

The staff was very friendly, especially Vange, who checked us in and informed us we had been given a complimentary room upgrade as well as a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon, who also checked us out, explaining everything about the property to us; Christopher, who booked put amazing helicopter tour for us; and Linda, who booked our Luau to celebrate my husband’s birthday and the manta ray snorkelling, which we both did on the Big Island after we checkout out from this resort.

IrelandWe had a great stay here, the rooms are lovely and the receptionist was really nice. She let us check in early and have a late checkout as our flight was in the evening time. When we arrived, we thought the water wasn't working, and they had someone come look at it straight away, but it turned out to be our fault anyway as we didn't know how the taps worked. We went snorkelling on the beach which is a 2minute walk and saw some turtles and cool fish! The pool was always nice and quiet and there's free parking!

Honestly cannot recommend this place enough, we loved staying here! I stayed with my family and the fold out sofa was comfortable and the space had plenty of room with it folded out which we did the whole time we were there. The room was huge and the balcony views were stunning overlooking the beach, the kitchenette facilities were great too. In a fantastic location, about an hour drive away from the airport. The beach being right outside the hotel was amazing and the pool and spa were fantastic too! The staff were so lovely with any questions with had and the concierge lady was also super nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We happened to check in on the day a tsunami warning was issued.
Although we arrived feeling quite worried, the friendly staff handled the situation calmly and professionally, allowing us to enjoy a comfortable stay.
We spent six nights here, and when it was time to leave, we wished we could have stayed a few more days.
The room was tidy and well-cleaned, and every member of the staff we encountered was warm and welcoming.
Thanks to them, we felt at ease and truly enjoyed our time throughout our stay.

the property is right on the beach , couple of restaurants around but quiet in the evening I would say you definitely need a car , the apartment has everything you need and much much more you don’t need to take anything at all with you including beach towels I can’t rate this place highly enough , the girls on reception and the cleaning staff were all lovely , I would stay here again if I come back I don’t think you can get any better for the price

The room was amazing! I loved all the craftsmanship of the solid wood finishes. The bed was almost too comfortable. The partial ocean view was spectacular, a panoramic view of the clear blue waters, green mountains, and rainbows. The amenities were incredible, with two pools, beach side bar, canopies and a gorgeous beach to jump in the water at. The staff was helpful and kind. The valet was great.

Next to the ocean. My room had the ocean view and garden view. Big room full kitchen , big walk in closet, very nice balcony, sitting peacefully to watch the ocean all day. Facility is so close to the mall and restaurants, no driving needed. Staffs are always courteous and friendly and kind, ready to help you with anything.

They tried to overcharge me at check in and told me to call...
They tried to overcharge me at check in and told me to call their manager during my vacation hour, as they won't fix their error internally despite the receipt from Booking.com from the check-in date. They ended up overcharging me after check out and asked me to take trash out as a guest - why was I paying them to do housekeeping work for them on my expensive Maui holiday? They even told Booking.com they don't have my reservations to avoid answering why they're overcharging so I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. Avoid avoid avoid!

The view was amazing!
The view was amazing! Lots of turtles, and stingray sightings from the balcony. The unit was clean and had all necessities. The unit is right off the elevator and so easy access when loading and unloading. Parking was easy, location was close to grocery and coffee. The bummer for us was the unit had no AC, so if you can sleep in 75-85 degrees with fans on, you will love this place. We were so uncomfortable, could not sleep. To pay so much to vacation on this island, it was a bummer for sure. We will never again rent a place without AC. Lesson learned for us.

Everything handy- restaurants, groceries, coffee place. We liked the beaches nearby and we love Lahaina Front Street which is a short drive. Quiet at night and safe. A bit dark to walk around at night but that is Hawaii.

They were rude, not familiar with their work, seem to be not care about their customers. They care more about what are not their business and not their responsibility than helping their customers.

We love visiting Maui and especially Lahaina. It is sad so much was lost in the fire, but the island has recovered, and it is/was an amazing place to visit. You need to visit Ocean Vodka, incredible views, and Monkeypod for excellent food and drink

We loved the peaceful vibe and amazing views this place offered. We come here every year for the location and awesome snorkeling. Napili and Kapalua Beaches boast quintessential tropical communities on Maui's West Coast. This is a smaller community with sufficient shopping, sporting and grochery options. Family owned restaurants are accessible by car and local bus services. The views draw us back here year after year. A great Farmer's market is a nust see on Wednesdays. Enjoy the turtle and gecko sightings

Loved Kapalua and would stay there again. Quiet area at the Ridge and very relaxing and not touristy like Kaanapali and Lahaina. Great location to nice beaches north of Kapalua and plenty of snorkeling time. Highly recommend Slaughterhouse Beach and Napili Bay for turtles, snorkeling.
The historic Honolua Store in Kapalua is a must see for sundries, souvenirs and sandwiches. Oh and don't forget the Dole whip machine near the deli. Great coffee shop on H-30 called Hawaiian Village Coffee.

all the beaches around there are really pretty the food is very good. A lot of food all over that location a lot of things to do.
I would’ve liked to travel to the different islands. It was hard to book a boat ride too expensive. I wish it was a little bit cheaper to do different events. I think everything is over price that’s what I didn’t like about this island. It’s very hard to plan outings with the big group of people we had 13 and we couldn’t afford to be doing all the different events with the group that big my other family stayed in a different resort but we wanted to stay all together, and it was very expensive to book.
