The location has the best view in Phu Quoc. Very centrally located with lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel staff was just superb. All of the staff were fluent in English, extremely polite, very professional especially Ms. Me. Ms Me has very a pleasant personality and speaks English eloquently. She was very helpful and extremely professional and was always around. The buggy service, the sunset tour and the cable car were just awesome.

The view of skyline and nightly fireworks is best seen from the sea view rooms. Comfy pillows even though they don't look fluffy but I had the best night's sleep in a long time in this hotel. No laundry service but no problem because they have a tenant providing laundry services at your cost and pretty cheap too 75,000 VND for 3kg of laundry. Many touristy areas near here including the departure station to Sun World, the Symphony of the Sea show, kiss bridge, eateries along Pearl street. If you don't feel like walking 1km, plenty of electric tuk-tuks and taxis waiting to fetch you.

Beautiful big bedroom with a proper bathroom ( bath and shower, hot water too)..A/C was spot on and it was so quiet (room 308). Initially the taxi dropped me at Lion 12, realising my error one of staff from Lion 12 drove me to Lion 15 and helped me with my luggage

New, clean, comfortable, plenty of hot water, good location, friendly staff. Just no breakfast, but there were plenty of goodies choices of breakfast nearby. We were actually quite glad that it had no breakfast. So we had a chance to discover all the delicious local breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.

The lush, peaceful environment was perfect for unwinding after busy workdays. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a fantastic mountain view. My kids loved the pool and the small organic vegetable garden. Breakfast was delicious and varied, especially the fresh fruit juices. We’ll definitely come back!

Amazing! The pool had a great view. It was big enough to swim properly. The private beach was very nice, and there were lots of fish. The location was super good. It was about 4 minutes to temples and night markets. I would come again. Staffs were friendly and nice. Breakfast had good selections too.

The main town is fairly average, not particularly pretty.

The main town is fairly average, not particularly pretty. OK food options, big range but average quality and expensive (tourist / island) prices compared to HCM. Too many noisy doof-doof nightclubs along the beach ruin the chance for a relaxing sleep. Leave it for the backpacker revellers. Many accommodation options seem run down. Plenty of Russians around, this rarely improves the ambiance in my experience.

Despite being one of the largest cities in Vietnam, the traffic is not over-the-top like in Hanoi and HCM. The pavements are wide and not used as overcrowded parking places for motorbikes. There is enough street life, with many food shops offering local dishes for less than 5 euro, including a soft drink. The local people are friendly, and most of them are not shy to speak English.

Our Homestay owner is very knowledgeable about his hometown area. Our trip theme was to visit CACAO FARMS. We saw more! We saw cacao fruits, jack fruits, red coconuts, green coconuts, bananas, pomelos, tangerines, papayas and friendly neighborhood during our bicycle rides. Definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Will visit again.

It has a great vibe, busy without being overwhelming, a nice little promenade and park along the Mekong and a pretty good dining and street food scene. There were some Westerners, but it felt completely untouristy. On the downside, other than our Tra Su Forest and Cham Village tour and the local market, there’s not a hell of a lot to do.

What an interesting and wonderful area!

What an interesting and wonderful area! It's beautiful and there's so much to see - from the city itself with its very lively market, to the pottery area with its iconic kilns, to the adjacent island of An Binh, which is rural and very beautiful. We ended up changing our plans to stay in the Vinh Long area several days longer.

Ha Tien is an interesting area, sprawled out along the ocean, consisting of waterfront, restaurants, beaches, and swimming areas. places to drive and walk and explore. I have fun on my motorbike, ranging all over the area and felt quite safe. There are newer, developing areas and older established areas. The downtown areas seem to have pretty basic hotels not many foreigners here as it’s a favourite for Vietnamese people to visit during the holiday holidays.

Ca Mau City is a stopping-off place before heading to Ca Mau...

Ca Mau City is a stopping-off place before heading to Ca Mau Cape and its adjacent mangrove forests. Be aware that Cau Mau Cape has especial cultural significance to Vietnamese or Vietnamese/Chinese peoples - westerners (foreigners) are a rarity at the Cape - there were only two there on the Sunday my wife and I visited the Cape (me plus one German solo traveller). If you are looking to find the Ca Mau City Bird Sanctuary, stop now - it no longer exists!! Ninty percent of the old bird sanctuary has been built over by the new President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Park and the remain 10% is no longer accessible to pedestrians (locked closed) due to the high concentration of venomous snakes.

Bac Lieu has many interesting sites to visit. The Cao van Lau theater is very interesting, but the light on the structure (the three hats) is off at night, not on as before. Instead, messy street vendors in front of the place makes it so unaesthetic. Moreover, a fighter jet placed inside the area of the theater is so aesthetic ugly. The Cao Van Lau memorial site is also worth to visit to know more about the cradle of the Vietnamese music.

A nice town, with plenty of coffee shops and places to eat. Nice Mekong riverside walkway, although no shelter from the blistering heat. Nice lakeside area that has lots of seating with some shaded areas, a pretty and well kept area. Lovely Buddhist temple.
