Really nice place, recommend if you are, staying in Aswan! The place is in a small Island, the staff is really friendly.

This place was an absolute gem! Located on a serene island, you’re surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views of the river. We stayed in a river view room, with a farm right in front of our window. Waking up to the view in the morning was truly a gift. The rooms are a beautiful homage to local Nubian heritage, with charming architectural and design touches that make you feel like you're staying in a traditional Nubian home. Yet, you also have all the comforts of a clean, well maintained air-conditioned room, which was such a perfect balance. The owner goes above and beyond to ensure that guests experience the local culture in an authentic way. It’s perfect for travelers who want to embrace the slow life and connect with the area’s heritage. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. Even before we arrived, he kept in touch and responded promptly to any questions we had about our booking or itinerary. He even provided us with an incredibly detailed and helpful list of dos and don’ts, along with travel suggestions for Luxor, Cairo, and Aswan! There are many activities and day trips to historical sights provided by the hotel as well, and we always felt like we were in good hands here. As a passionate traveler himself, you can tell he truly cares about giving his guests an unforgettable, authentic experience. One of the highlights of our stay was taking a refreshing dip in the Nile. It was incredibly relaxing, after a busy week full of walking around and traveling. Our favorite part of the stay was meeting the warm and welcoming locals. The owner took us to a local village on another island, where we had the chance to see traditional Nubian houses. The local kids were playing and running around outside, and it was a truly heartwarming experience to interact with them. They also have an adorable dog, Zazu, who will greet you with endless love and affection the moment you arrive! We already miss him so much!!

Hafez was the best host! He helped us with everything and made our stay a great moment. We felt at home :))

This guest house is located on Elephantine Island in the heart of the Village. The staff at Nubian Soul were very helpful and attentive to our needs and were always present to help us every step of the way. Bibo welcomed us graciously into his hotel, escorted us to our rooms and offered us a welcome drink on the terrance thereafter. He replied promptly to all inquiries on booking and/or watsapp. He even helped us arrange a private boat transfer off the island when the public ferry wasn't running. The Breakfast too was personal and quite homey Wifi was amazing and excellent speed. Clean bathroom and utilities.

The owner (an amazing Nubian lady) and all the staff are extremely nice. The location is immersed into a beautiful Nubian village with an astonishing view on the Nile river. Breakfast is a taste of the Nubian food, super tasty.

Kana Kato is a wonderful and relaxing place to stay for a few days while visiting Aswan! The owner Mohammed, his friend Ahmed and the other staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful during our visit. The place is brand new and decorated beautifully with Nubian culture and the room was clean. The view from the terrace is amazing and the food was delicious. Breakfast was included and we had some tasty dishes from the dinner menu. Boat trips to surrounding islands and other activities in the area can be organized with the owners brother Mustafa who was a great tour guide. Thank you Kana Kato - highly recommended place to stay!

View from the room was excellent! Great owner, helped us organise tours in reasonable prices. Good breakfast and staff took into account our recommendations.

Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Especially thanks to Ahmed, we could spend great time there. The guest house is located in the heart of Nubian Village, people are great. Very clean and cute rooms. Good value for a cost efficient trip. But the greatest part was the breakfast. It was humble but the best, especially comparing similar hotels and guest houses in Egypt. We will always remember this cute village and Lawanda Nubian House. Thank you!

Breakfast was very good, we had also a wonderful meal in the evening! The wonderful view on the Nile.
