I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Shekhawati Boutique in Bikaner, India, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Impressive hotel. It has retained its past glory of Maharajahs Haveli with giving you modern amenities. Loved the stay here. Very helpful staff.

A wonderful experience for anyone who has ever wondered what it’s like to live as a king within a fortress. The two rooms we booked were fit for a palace, and our first arrival at the castle was a truly welcoming moment. The host and his wife were incredibly accommodating and happy to share stories about the history of the place in the evening around a bonfire. The food was the best I had in Rajasthan—hats off to the cook. I’ll never forget the profound sense of introspection I felt while gazing at the full moon at night from the walls of Narayan Niwas Castle.

The set up and design of the place

True Rajasthani hospitality - cordial hosts, attentive and responsive. Excellent food, subtle spicing, very fresh and sattvik. Note there are no TVs or WiFi in the rooms, which is just fine for a certain type of traveller. Enormous yet cosy rooms, very clean and all with an ethnic Rajasthani flair. I am grateful that the lady of the house cooked extras for me, thank you. Anyone travelling between Delhi and Bikaner or Jaipur would do well to stop here for 2 nights.
