I could not write a more positive review of this hotel. Upon our arrival in Koh Rong we had originally booked a different hotel but we very disappointed so found a last minute deal at Apsara resort. From start to finish, we were treated wonderfully by all the staff. A really warm welcome and personal touches throughout - it felt as though they really cared. Rooms are gorgeous, we were kindly upgraded to a sea view room and it was stunning - the views and the room itself is one of our favourites we’ve ever stayed in. The bed was also possibly the comfiest mattress I have ever slept on. Pool areas and beach are well maintained and simply divine. Use of paddle board and snorkelling equipment was a nice bonus. Breakfast was lovely and we ate in the main restaurant 2x during our stay for dinner - both meals fantastic! I really would recommend this hotel to anyone and would return in a heartbeat!

Everything was perfect! We were lucky to be able to book for the pre opening. The staff and owners were lovely, always there to help. They helped us to rent a scooter so we could visit the island. Rooms were big and the bed was really comfy! We will come back!

We spent here our honeymoon in a villa with pool. The Royal Sands Koh Rong was our Earth paradise. We have never seen such a wonderful environment like this. It was stunning, amazing like a dream which became reality! This place is the perfect location of absolut relaxing. We felt like we were the only one of the beach, it was totally unique. The beach with white sand was incdeible beautiful. The architectural view of the villas were understatedly elegant. The interior atmosphere of the villa was excellent with local materials and simplicity. The pool was enjoyable and cozy. The villa was well equipped, always clean. The staff was really friendly, helpful, kind and smiley. In the spa we felt like we were in the heaven. We had the best balinesen massage ever!! The western and asian menu of the Royal Sands Koh Rong were incredibly delicious with a professional staff. The breakfasts were colorful and tasty. It was easy and fast to rent a motorbike and go around the island. The village was just 15 minutes motor ride from the resort. The amazing sunset was a daily program with delicious coctails. We highly recommend Royal Sands Koh Rong!

The bungalows are very cozy and have everything you need. The chill out area at the beach is very comfortable and the restaurant right next to it has everything you need. The employees are extremely friendly and help you with everything. The scooter rental was also super easy and they refill the gasoline for you so you don‘t have to stress to a gas station.

The beach is great, Pool is good. a-la cart menu is good and the bar for me is ok. Room was not fresh (maybe that's because of the climate) but functional and clean enough. Excellent beds and mattresses! Staff tried to do their best and all the issues have been solved really fast.

The sand and sea are clean and white and blue, respectively. The staff are very helpful and solicitous. I spent 9 very happy days there not doing much apart from chilling and eating.

Fantastic stay, wonderful staff Wan, Lin and Phon SreyPa were exceptionally accommodating. We ended up staying in the resort for our whole time on the island. Very relaxing with a really good food/ bar selection and great value also. They give you a tab which you can pay at the end with card which was very handy as the island does not have an atm. Really lovely stay, the staff definitely made it for us! Would definitely recommend.
