Staff is very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to assist us on several occasions. We stayed in both a hotel room as well as their individual chalets. Both were clean, modern and comfortable. Food was very good. I especially liked the breakfast, it was great with so many delicious options. Also, being able to sit at the restaurant with an open view of our beautiful surroundings was so relaxing!

The place is very nice, really clean and you could feel like in the jungle. The staff were really kind and explain to us different things about their culture.

Visiting Ella and staying in this homestay just outside the city centre was the highlight of my recent trip to Sri Lanka. The accommodation represents excellent value for money and was more than adequate for the time I spent there. The room was large in size and the homestay in general was built to what I thought was a high level of quality with very high ceilings and lots of wood used throughout the building. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was designed to a high standard. This was easily one of the best examples of a homestay I say anywhere in Sri Lanka. What I found really excellent about this place was the staff, Over the several days I spent at this homestay I got to know Pasindu and Noman and given the excellent rapport I got with these guys I decided to do Wild Steps tour with Pasindu, which was basically a motorbike tour to all the major sites for one day, which I left all the travel planning and guiding to Pasindu. I also was easily convinced on my last night to take part in a Sri Lankan cooking class at the homestay with Noman and Pasindu which gave me a great deal of insight of how to make Sri Lankan food. This involved going to the local market and buying a bunch of ingredients and then coming back to the homestay and making a feast. Both activities were absolutely fantastic! What I can't express enough is what legends both of these guys were and how excellent this accommodation was. In hindsight if I planned my itinerary again I probably would have skipped the rest of my trip going down to the coast (Tangelle, Merissa and Galle) and would have spent the time in Ella, backtracking back to Colombo via Kandy and spending more time in the cultural triangle.

The hosts were a very friendly and hospitable family. They went out of their way to make dinner for us when we asked, giving us a big meal and a very welcoming (authentic) experience to Sri Lanka. The room was very cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The hosts were overall extremely accommodating and kind. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area as it is close to many attractions.

It's a lovely nice family! Eranda was very kind and helpful. He shared with us some recommendations about local places that we wanted to try, and offered to pick us up and drop us at the train station on his day off. The location was great for us. In the middle of a tea garden away from the noise but still reachable within 7 min by scooter from the town. The room was very clean with a private bathroom and balcony. The bed is super comfy, we slept very well here and we had all our privacy.

This was my favourite stay in Sri Lanka. The hotel has a such a good view and also the swimming pool is a plus. You can easily watch the sunset from there without going to Little Adam's peak. From here, you can easily walk to the city, without using the tuktuk (you can just go through the railways). Breakfast was amazing.

Everything was so good. Better than expected. We had a verry nice stay and best view from the room. The breakfast was amazing and the staff Yoel and Sarath were verry freindly and helped us with everything. We are highly recommending this resort. Thank you and see you again 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
