The hotel is situated in the heart of the tea fields and offers a wonderful panoramic view of the vast mountains and Adam’s Peak. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with great attention to detail. The staff were extremely friendly and exceptionally accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The food and service are outstanding. Highly recommend, Five stars.

The Argyle is a truly stunning 5-star hotel in Sri Lanka. Celebrating New Year’s Eve here was unforgettable. The team hosted a wonderful party that made us feel truly special with fantastic ambiance, food, fireworks and lanterns. What sets The Argyle apart is its exceptional staff. A heartfelt thanks to Vithugash who was just amazing and truly made our stay, Suren and Rushi for expertly organizing our trip to Adam’s Peak and onward travel, and our fantastic driver, Nishan. Amazing place to spend a few relaxed days in the Hill country. The food is delicious, and room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, and Dhurka and Dhya are great hosts. I will come back soon!

I was welcomed and cared for in an outmost great manner by Ruban, Lisha and Desmand. They were always present and ready to help out with any requests. My departure day included another personal service- all the way to the train station including the waiting time there. The food is simply wonderful. A tour, behind the scene at the tea factory was a learning curve and definitely another high point. Never again will I have a cup of tea without gratitude to the hard working tea pluckers (mature women), field and factory workers. Just to learn about tea. What it is, and the different stages of production? The bungalow is the only place that offers a field and factory tour combined. The tea pluckers will eventually fade away as young people do not want to take over. So there is a shift on its way. The bungalow, as well as the Tea Queen bungalow ( 10 years old) are tucked away above the town Norwood. The area is great for hiking, walking. To visit this unique place is totally recommended.

Everything about our stay here was exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the owner and staff made us feel so welcome, going above and beyond to make our visit truly special. They were incredibly attentive and always ready to help with anything we needed. And the food…..wow! Some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. From the authentic breakfasts to the mouthwatering dinners, every meal was an absolute treat. The building itself is breathtaking, with so much history and charm. Staying here was a highlight of our trip, and we’re so glad we chose this incredible place. If you’re in Hatton and looking for a memorable stay, we couldn’t recommend it more highly! We had a lovely stay at the Farm Resorts, the view was exceptional, felt like heaven, the hotel staff were very friendly and our butler (Mr. Nadeera) made our stay very comfortable the food at the restaurant was delicious especially the Sri Lankan cuisine The hotel offers great activities and an amazing walking path around the tea farm.
