Absolutely everything about this resort is incredible!! We were celebrating our honeymoon and it was magical spending our time in secrets Akumal. Everything is done to perfection and that’s all thanks to the amazing staff they have. We loved seeing the entertainment team everyday and getting involved in all of their activities. Max, jonas, Abraham and Gina were amazing ❤️ The food and drinks in the resort were such high quality. We loved the pizza by the pool and also loved the grill for dinner! We snorkelled with the turtles which I’d highly recommend! Amazing experience! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so incredibly enjoyable. We didn’t stop smiling the entire trip and we have memories forever!

Perfect private location for relaxing in the sun in pure 5 star luxury, everything from the Bach, the pool, the rooms with the most comfortable beds EVER to the most fabulous foods ever eaten anywhere in the world. It wasn’t our first visit and it certainly won’t be our last as didn’t want to come home and can’t wait to go back 😊

I have been to the Riviera Maya 6 times and stayed at different hotels, twice at El Dorado Royale, once at at Valentin Imperial, once at an all inclusive in Cancun Hotel area but can’t remember the name. I usually go as a couple and we spend a bit more, this time I brought my mum and gran and so I payed the bill but I still wanted a similar or same experience, I was hesitant to book this hotel as it had more mixed reviews but overall was cheaper then the others and after thorough reading I decided to give this a go. I have to say there is not a lot to worry about! and totally worth it, definitely good value. if you are someone that is used to extremely good service you may be a bit annoyed that the golf cart to take you to your room takes 10mins rather than immediate or that the app to book the a la Carte restaurants isn’t great, if you are a bit like that and complain about the smallest of things go somewhere else that costs a bit more. Overall I believe it was really good value, there are three hotels in one, two large areas with pools, and one that has a kid area. It’s a bit of an eco hotel, so there’s a lot of iguanas, tropical birds, Coatis, Sereques and we even spotted some racoons late at night, if you or your kids love animals and nature this is the most ‘at nature’ I felt in all the resorts. In this hotel there are a lot more Buffets than others which is also great for eating what you want when you want and running back to the pool or beach. The drinks are better at other resorts but beer was good and spirit+mixer, cocktails were a bit hit and miss but who cares. A lot of the restaurants were fully booked when we arrived for the weekend, such as the Japanese, but we just booked something else and we were impressed, the food at El Dorado Royale is amazing, here it is really good, but if you don’t mind paying more then the other one is better for food.

The hotel was incredible and staff fabulous. The butlers in villa70 went above and beyond to help make it a special experience, a huge thank you to all the team in Capricho restaurant (the breakfast and lunch service so special) and I would recommend upgrading to the premium experience, Ivan around the pool really looked after us and it's really worth it for all the added benefits.

UNICO exceeded my expectations and I have already recommend this resort to others. We ate at every restaurant on site and did not have one bad meal. The food and drinks are top tier for an all inclusive resort! The service is also fantastic and aren't overbearing - I also enjoyed that the beach was "private" meaning there were not a lot of people passing by to sell you items. I recommend the swim up pool! It's an absolute MUST and they will even serve you by your own pool.

Grand oasis Akumal is perfect if you just want to visit Tulum as a day trip but still want relaxing all inclusive resort vibes! The beach water is crystal clear and clean!

Pure paradise, staff were superb, they cannot do enough for you. The all-inclusive is great, unlike some all inclusive places the drinks brands are all top tier. The choice of restaurant and the quality of the food is also great (Himitsu & Portofino we’re our personal faves). There is also a ‘quiet’ pool which is super relaxing, and then down by the swim up bar it’s a bit more lively. We went for our honeymoon, and we cannot wait to go back!
