This is the most sustainable, fair trade hotel I have ever seen. They should talk more about it. The resort and its owner invented their own eco-technologies such as a grey water system with which the water never infiltrates and pollutes the ground or natural air conditioning systems. Nothing is bought from a big company (except the toilet paper they say) all is as local, as organic as it can be from the soaps, food or wines. The staff is Burmese most them coming from the war times in Myanmar. The hotels finances green projects for the local businesses and buys coffee from a school for disabled kids on the main land and yes it is exceptionally good. These are only two examples but ask the staff about anything you see you will be shocked they will tell you all the reasoning behind each item of this amazing resort. The hotel help people in Myanmar by sending 50USD for each booking and alternatively for 50USD booking several bnbs in Ukraine without any stay. You will feel good to be there knowing you are not polluting anything and that your money will be used to finance green or social projects. I mean just for that I love this place. I had the best time with the entire team they are lovely, passionate and kind people with amazing personal history from the manager to the cleaning lady.

Everything was perfect. The room is big and beautiful with enough space and a really big bathtub. The prefect is amazing and change every day from thai food to continental breakfast and fresh eggs. The pool is big enough to swim.

I stayed in the beach front villa. Amazing place so peaceful. Very good price compared to other beach front villas. Restaurant on site has nice food at a good price. Staff Amazing. I will definitely stay here again. You can rent a scooter just 2 minutes walk away.

Beautiful cool and clean pool Great massages Clean rooms with great air conditioning Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful and even made up a large table for 19 guest right on the beach for dinners. Village was perfect nearby for getting your nails done, massages, other food options etc Would definitely recommend this resort for relaxing on the beautiful beach and taking it easy as it’s a fair distance to other locations.

So good, extended more. Too bad couldn’t stay longer:’( Staff were amazing, room perhaps needs some wardrobe or at least some shelfs, but compared to what you get for this price I can’t complain about anything really. Props to owners for finding such nice people to work at their resort.

Great place, in front of the jungle. Good vibes all around. 10 minutes bike from the beach, restaurant and market. Very clean room, no insects at all! We had the bungalow with a small terrace! If you look for quiet and peace this is the place. David and Sue great host, David helped us out with some trouble. It is far from the centre of the island, but you have to take bike anyway to go around! Absolutely recommended!

Our time at Siam Cookies Cottage was truly memorable. The hotel’s location couldn’t have been better – right by the beach with stunning views. The rooms were beautifully designed, modern, and very comfortable. Throughout our stay, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. I especially want to highlight Hein at the reception. He was outstanding — organizing everything we needed, with incredible attention to detail. Hein’s warm personality really stood out. Thanks to his efforts, our stay was smooth, relaxing, and completely stress-free. He truly made a big difference in our experience.

The room was very comfortable. The host ( Julian)was attentive to all our needs. The pool was great. The property was neat and the landscaping ( gardens) well looked after ( private). The rooms were big and the AC worked well. Out of all the islands I have stayed in Thailand..... I enjoyed this accommodation the most because the smaller accommodations offer a better more personalised service. . Very central. Close to 7-11. and many restaurants aswell as markets ( walking distance)

Beautiful property. As I brought my girlfriend on her first trip to Asia she felt extremely comfortable, safe and welcomed by all the staff and the whole resort. Fantastic location and thanks to all the incredible staff for making it such an amazing time.

Everything!!! The best resort we were in Thailand. The staff was so nice. Always make sure everything is ok. The breakfast varied, the restaurant has great menu and so tasty meals. The pool is in front of the beach. Big rooms which decorated so special.

Everything was perfect! Rooms are very spacious and clean. The resort is so peaceful and green. There is a gym and organized activities. Location was amazingly relaxed and by the beach, with beautiful sunsets over the sea. You need a motorbike to go into town. Staff was very nice and helpful. We even extended our stay. :)

Resort had own private beach but not good for swimming. Some rooms are next to loud road and noise was unbearable. Not worth the money. There are cheaper and better ones nearby.

The resort is amazing. One of the most relaxing places i’ve ever been. The staff are so helpful and really made our stay lovely. They’re on hand with advice and suggestions which was really helpful, and bilingual speaking. Facilities were lovely, nice gym, bikes to use (free), pool area, good food and good buffet breakfast. We had a lovely stay thank you!! :-)

Very comfortable, close to the beach. Beautiful resort. The pool is nice. The plunge pool and the outdoor shower area were amazing. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Communication is usually a bit difficult but one person spoke English very well and took care of all our needs. They helped us rent a car to get around. When it was time to go, my wife didn't want to leave.
