Everything!!! Our stay at the hotel was worth every minute, from the boat ride from the dock to our return. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable, the staff is super friendly, the food is very typical and delicious. If you are looking for a place to really disconnect, relax in front of the beach and enjoy the advantages of being on an island, Islas del Encanto is the place. Well-equipped resort in an out-of-the-way location. It is situated on the water with abundant beach chairs, kayaks, and paddleboards. There is a bar and large two-story restaurant with an extensive menu. The food is incredible! But you must be patient. It often took 30-45 minutes for a meal to come after ordering. But everything is prepared from scratch with fresh ingredients so it is worth waiting for. Excellent buffet breakfast included in the room price. Staff are very friendly and attentive.

The hotel is stunning and the resort is stunning with friendly staff. Unfortunately our room 66 on the private island was across from cholon the party island. They started blasting music at 5:00 am and went all day until 4. Not the vibe we wanted for our honeymoon. All other rooms lower than 60 should be ok for noise but just be warned about rooms 60-66!

Amazing small family resort, The private beach is great so nice peaceful and relaxing. Staff was very nice and helpful as well as the owners, who were very friendly and helpful. They gave as a big support and helped with to deal with local street service (taxis, boats), which is not the best.

Everything, mostly location, very private This is an outstanding resort with some elements for service improvement.

The trip stated off with a one hour speedboat transfer from Cartagena, offering fabulous views of the city as you left the harbour. The transfer was efficient and comfortable, followed by a quick and easy check-in at the resort. The resort has several pools in addition to the ocean, so there is swimming for everyone. Rooms were clean and comfortable - try and book a bungalow if your budget allows. The resort welcomes day trippers every day, yet as a hotel guest you didn‘t see them at all.

Our stay at Baru Playa Resort is like living on Fantasy Island - beautiful, remote, tranquil, & peaceful. The staff is exceptional, professional and friendly. Captain Edgar is a great boat captain and very friendly. Jorge, the owner, is passionate about quality service and maintaining the rustic island vibe of his beachfront resort. I am so impressed with Jorge and the resort, that I would consider investing in it!
