Overall, it was such a great experience for a family with a 1 year old. • Loved the outdoors, so much vegetation and plants. So green, esthetic, zen. Nice beach and crystal blue water. Nice beach bar with good cocktails. • Beautuful infinity pools - although not too large, they were just enough for our needs. • Friendly and welcoming staff. Especially at the restaurant, they were so nice, helpful, and smiley with us and our baby. We had some special food-related requirements for the baby, and they were always happy to help. • The food - it was a feast! Sooooo delicious, large variety, accomodating various cousines (international and local) and many vegetarian options. • The room - after the first night we changed with another room, at ground level, with direct access to the pool. We liked it a lot. Staying on our terrace, we had a direct view of the pool, beach, ocean, and all surrounding greenery. Very nice.

Fantastic 5* resort! Our junior suite was clean and spacious and conveniently located next to a swimming pool. The hotel is 25 years old, but it is kept in a pristine condition. There are a lot of top-class amenities and a number of high-quality restaurants — we liked every dish we had during our stay. Both swimming pools are exceptional, and there is a wine cellar and a sauna. Above all, we enjoyed a library. You literally have to go for One&Only, which is in a totally different price range, to (slightly) beat Prince Maurice when it comes to the quality of the facility. Senior staff members in WhatsApp concierge service (such as Imtiaz, Yash and Phoung) are qualified and helpful with reservation of restaurants and activities. When our return flight was cancelled due to a strike, they managed to prolong our stay for one night — despite a short notice and low availability during high season. We specifically looked for a hideaway resort, hence we enjoyed the distant location of Prince Maurice and absolute silence at nights. Those looking for nightlife and Mauritian street vibes should consider hotels located in the coastal towns.

The hotel does not occupy very big territory, however there are lots of space on the beach, you can choose either surrounding with the palms or the white sand. The sand is very soft like a powder and not hot. Kayaks, paddles, catamarans, water ski, etc - all are free of charge. Great experience was to try water ski! There is cold refreshing water on the beach during the day free of charge. Beach towels are soft and new. The ebb and flow of water in the ocean was not significant during our stay, you can easily swim during the day. Seaside is perfect with soft sand, no stones, no fish, good for kids. The room is very big, we had 2 rooms and got free of charge upgrade for the ocean view. The personnel is really very kind, very kind. Always ready to help and solve any problem. At the end of our stay we were presented with the bottle of champagne from the manager. There is consierge service, they can book any restaurant, excursions, taxi, etc. There is a big library in the hotel, very nice massages and body treatment, free of charge sauna, hammam and gym. Although giving good humidity, hammam looks a bit out of date. Every evening there are wisdom affirmations near the bed, I collect all of them and took with me. The hotel and the rooms are in colonial style, although looking fresh, very nice towels and bed linens. Very clean all around. There are no restaurants outside the hotel, therefore if you eat 3 times per day it’s better to order HB/all-inclusive at once. Food was good, combination of Asian and European cuisine, wide selection of fruits, pan cakes, gems, eggs, etc, although being enough I cannot say there were a lot of vegetables. The location of the hotel is quite far from other attractions, we had a boat tour to the nearest waterfall, dolphins and monkeys and it was great. The weather in May was not stable, one day was all raining, others not hot but very comfortable, rains are very short and mostly at night. Water in the ocean was perfect.

Constance Belle Mare Plage ligger ved en 2 km lang privat strand med koralrev og har 7 restauranter og 6 barer. Wonderful place and friendly staff. The food was delicious.

Silver Beach Hotel ligger i Trou d' Eau Douce og har swimmingpool, restaurant og gratis WiFi. Der tilbydes børnepasning, så de voksne gæster kan nyde den tilbudte aftenunderholdning. Staff all fantastic. Chef’s,waiters,bar,room,gardeners reception office and beach staff all really good. Food beautifully produced local creole and international.( Calamari Vindaloo especially good) Room large with sitting area and very clean. All local beers ,wine and cocktails excellent. Hotel car hire really good value. Beautiful location with lovely gardens and fabulous beach. We stayed a few years ago at a 5* hotel up the road . We preferred Silver Beach and will definitely return. Thank you to everyone for your hospitality
