We had the most amazing stay at Lux Le Morne – everything was perfect and far above our expectations! A big thank you to our welcoming guide Mathieu for making us feel at home from the start, and to Sushila who kept our room always spotless and shining. But our deepest gratitude goes to Iqbal – our driver, guide, and above all, our friend. His kindness, knowledge, and genuine care made our trip truly unforgettable. He didn’t just take us from one place to another – he shared the soul of Mauritius with us, always making us feel safe, welcomed, and cared for. We will forever remember him as a big part of our beautiful experience, and for this we are extremely grateful.

Upon arrival, we were kindly upgraded to villas at the neighboring Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa, which we assume belongs to the same group. Since our booking included half board, we returned to Sands Suites for both breakfast and dinner, so we cannot comment on the rooms at Sands itself. That said, based on the overall atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings, and the high level of service, we believe the rooms at Sands Suites are equally lovely. The resort grounds are absolutely stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and a very peaceful atmosphere. The staff were extremely polite, warm, and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Both breakfast and dinner were served buffet-style and exceeded our expectations. There was a wide variety of options to choose from, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We would definitely visit Sands Suites Resort & Spa again and highly recommend it without any hesitation. It was a truly enjoyable experience.

The location is unbeatable — right on a pristine beach with breathtaking views of Le Morne Brabant. The staff were consistently attentive, warm, and proactive, making us feel welcome from start to finish. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and well-maintained throughout our stay. Housekeeping was discreet and efficient. The resort offers a great balance of relaxation and activities — from water sports to yoga and fine dining at several restaurants, all with something unique to offer. Overall, a luxury experience that lived up to expectations — we would definitely return and recommend it without hesitation.

Den bedste service vi nogensinde har oplevet på et hotel. Helt ned til mindste detalje er der tænkt over det. What a great resort and staff! Magnificent resort with great swimming pools and beach, plenty of entertainment, excellent food and drinks and really nice vibe. All staff is there to make your stay magnificent. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are great. Our housekeeper Patricia, made sure the room was super fine every time. The food in all restaurants is great, the buffets, Buddha Bar and at Mare Mare. Manager Scyam went also an extra mile for us and got us a table at Mare Mare with an excellent bottel of wine, or even a latte machiato at breakfast. Nothing is to much for the staff at Sugar Beach, they make you feel like a king or queen 🙏🏼😊
