Facing the beachfront, Andalay Beach Resort Koh Libong offers 4-star accommodation in Ko Libong and has a garden, private beach area and shared lounge. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor pool. Guests can enjoy American and Chinese dishes at the restaurant or have a cocktail at the bar. It was pretty much PERFECT. The warm welcome; the location; the food; the setting of the hotel (it is like you are within a lovely garden). The stand out though is the service from the staff - it was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff are queuing up for the happiness they display in wanting to be helpful to guests. It is a bit of a cliché but genuinely my wife and I didn’t want to leave…

Libong Beach Resort is a 10-minute drive to Baan Prao pier. Offering free Wi-Fi in public areas, the hotel also provides free private parking on site.

The hotel is a 35-minute long-tail boat ride to Koh Mook. Koh Kradan is a 40-minute long-tail boat ride away. Facilities are broadly in line with the cheap price - basic but functional. There are 2 exceptions - the location on a very attractive beachfront is 5 star. But unfortunately it's zero stars for the beds. It feels just like a sheet has been thrown over a slab of concrete. Still, you can doze on a beautiful beach to make up for the lost sleep. The island itself is very unspoilt and tranquil. And the islanders are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
