We've had a great trip so far but this is probably the best hotel we've stayed at. Friendly welcome - schnapps a nice touch. Beautiful room with well appointed bathroom. Excellent location - a short walk from monastery and old town centre. Very good value and brilliant breakfast.

One of the best hotel experiences so far in Austria. The location is perfect, room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was amazing with a big selection. The staff was super kind, friendly and helpful. It is really nice that they have a garage which you can use with no charge. Highly recommended.

Room was quiet and had all conveniences, clean and a good shower. Bed was comfortable and the sheets were of good quality. Breakfast was really good with eggs made to order and an extensive Buffet. Fresh bread, and the locally produced apricot jam was, while expected being in the Wachau area, a definite bonus, and really enjoyable.

The hotel is in a superlative state. It is rare to find such clean, large and yet cozy rooms. The service was first-class and despite our late arrival, a special dinner was prepared for our family. The breakfast is rich, the coffee is high-quality and egg dishes are available a la carte. Be sure to try their own homemade delicacies - jams. I still miss that taste and smell. We definitely recommend visiting this wonderful hotel

My partner and I recently stayed in Cottage Number 9 for a weekend away. We felt incredibly lucky to have stumbled on such an incredible hidden gem! We arrived a bit later than expected, after getting lost on a hike, and Anna immediately took such care to welcome us and make sure we felt at home, comfortable, and that we had everything we could need. She had prepared for us some welcoming snacks, beautifully arranged in our room, with a complimentary bottle of wine. This is a little touch, but it means a lot to be welcomed so warmly. The rooms themselves are unbelievably beautiful. It's clear Anna has put real care and hard work into creating such a magical setting. Comfy beds, chic design, spacious, and provided with all the amenities we could need. Anna provided us breakfast delivered outside our door in the morning, and it was an absolute feast! My partner and I are vegan, so had been concerned about finding good food when we were in the Wachau Valley, but Anna provided a beautiful hamper with a mix of breads, cereals, fruit, jams, peanut butter, coffee, juice, and fake cheeses and meats (to cater to us awkward vegans!). Again, this was such a great example of Anna's care to ensure her guests have the best experience they can. I try to avoid hyperbole, but Anna's is perhaps the best place I've ever stayed. Between the quality of the place and amenities, and the top class hospitality, I couldn't think of a single thing that could've been better.

This place is an oasis of tranquility in nature combined with rafinement and host extremely attentive to details to make you feel perfect. Delicious breakfast, very rich and well presented. I would like to come back there sometime!
