We had a wonderful stay at the Grandhotel. The staff were all very nice and helpful, in particular Sebastian at reception. We stayed in one of the rooms at the front of the hotel with a small balcony and a spectacular view of Lake Brienz and the waterfall. The room was really clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food was delicious and well presented. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, with a lovely walk down to the lake, the funicular train, and several hikes around the waterfall. The outdoor pool area is also lovely, both for a swim and to sit down for a while. A wonderful, tranquil slice of heaven. Can't wait to return!

It was very lovely and cozy place, the staff made us feel warmly welcomed. Good place for hikers since there is lot of hiking trails closeby reachable by car. Great scenery for mountains and cute little details such as room keys. Breakfast was delicious and you get the alpine guesthouse experience. We will recommend 100%

Flexibility, familiar atmosphere. The dinner was fantastic (you get the whole menu for the day), and the breakfast was great too. View is good from the balcony.

Everything was perfect. Huge parking. Quiet place. Welcome fruits in the room. And amazing view into Augsmatthorn and Sugiturm peaks which were on my list to hike up :-) And the bed! OMG - the most comfortable pillows I have used in the hotels ever. Even wanted to bring one home :-) Two mornings out of free slept longer than planned - either pillows were really so comfy, either I was tired after the hikes. Probably both :-) Breakfast - as expected - nothing fancy, but really good as for the 3 star hotel. Food in the restaurant - delicious!

The staff is really friendly and helpful. Views from the hotel are to die for and theres plenty of food to choose from during breakfast. The hotel rooms are big and clean. The area around the hotel is very beautiful, and is close to the main places.

I liked the hotel very much. Beautiful hotel from the outside, beautiful room, furniture made of wood. From the window there is a gorgeous view of the mountain and fir trees! The room is warm. Excellent bathroom. Very clean in the room. Very tasty and varied breakfast. Very good location of the hotel - in the center of the town. The restaurant serves delicious food. The friendly waitress advised what to choose for dinner, she guessed my food preferences and was very friendly and polite. I really liked the atmosphere in the restaurant.
