The location is perfect, with parking just a few meters away .The re-creation of the old post office has been lovingly done - modern up-to-date amenities and old architecture coexist beautifully .The breakfast buffet was very good, and there is more than enough seating for the guests, which is often a rarity...we loved our stay!

Flensburg is a beautiful and charming town, and Central Hotel is perfectly located – very close to the main bus station and right at the beginning of the main street. There are plenty of transportation options nearby, from buses to e-scooters. The room was excellent, clean, and well-equipped, and it seems the hotel is developing and upgrading. Everything worked perfectly, and the overall condition was new and fresh. The highlight for me was the strong shower stream – exactly what I needed after a 4-hour train journey. The provided amenities (toothbrush, shaving kit, and grooming set) were also very convenient. Breakfast was wonderful, not crowded, with two buffet lines so you could always get more without waiting. Cleanliness was outstanding, both in the room and the dining area. I also appreciated the option to leave my luggage after checkout and enjoy exploring the town freely. Overall, a great experience – thank you for the amazing hospitality!

The room was excellent! We have nothing but praise for everything and everyone. Our child is allergic to nuts and when we asked the kitchen staff they immediately found out what she could eat and not, which is very helpful. There was a coffee machine in the room, and that coffee was the best I've had in a long time. Also, one of the boarder shops is right next door.

Very beautiful hotel and room 116 is just fabulous ! The staff is very friendly and service minded. Breakfast was very nice and even included salmon.

Strandhotel Glücksburg is a beautiful renovated old building right on the beach of Flensburg Fjord. Rooms and service are high quality. The restaurant serves a very good breakfast with all what you may need of food and drinks. The dinner in the evening is high quality and somewhat expensive - but fully worth the price. It is a place you want to visit again.
