Large room, excellent staff. Breakfast was 12 euro and was good. Price is reasonable. Nearby train station parking costed about 9 euro per day, safe and reasonable price.

We had booked a room for Friday night so that we would be close to the train station for an early Saturday departure. Due to some problems with our car rental, we also needed a room for Monday night. We inquired at the hotel and were welcomed with kindness, a beautiful room, and a recommendation to visit the restaurant downstairs for dinner. Again on Friday evening, we were welcomed and given a comfortable room and wonderful restaurant recommendation. The location is excellent for anyone traveling by train as it is minutes to walk to the station. Even though the area might seem to be noisy on a main street, it quiets down completely at night.

In the heart of the Limousin region, Hotel Le Collonges is located in the centre of Brive-la-Gaillarde, 1 km from the train station. It offers en suite accommodation and free Wi-Fi.

We really enjoyed a truly quaint French hotel. The staff were lovely, the rooms very comfortable and we enjoyed every minute. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay.

It is in a lovely position yet 5mins away from the town. If you are going for a few days it’s worth while getting some provisions in. The breakfast was very good continental full ! The owners very nice, helpful and friendly, there was plenty of information about the surrounding area, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedroom.

We had a long journey and were very late checking in, our host very kindly stayed to welcome us and that was so nice after a 12 hour drive and it was quite late. Our room was clean and tidy and this was a fantastic stopover before our onward journey south. The breakfast was pleasant also. We will definitely stay again another time.
