The welcome was excellent and the breakfasts plentiful. The room and bathroom was perfectly clean. The location right by the beach and Rock Gish restaurant and nice pubs was excellent. Just a short walk from town too.

Very friendly hotel staff and the hotel itself is very near to the train station, the town and the beach. It has fabulous private gardens. As it was December when I stayed, the hotel was beautifully decorated with a lovely festive Christmas feel in all the public rooms.

Located in the centre of Topsham, just 4 miles from Exeter, The Globe is a beautifully renovated 16th-century coaching inn.

Rooms are a great size and comfortable. Bar is cosy and food is very good. Breakfast choices were good too. Staff are very accommodating and sorted out an issue quickly and with ease.

An excellent hotel with new, modern renovations. Excellent rooms. The gym, pool and sauna are small, but we had a wonderful time there. The restaurant has good service and the breakfast was delicious. There is a good selection of fruit and pastries, but it's best to arrive early. The hotel's location is very convenient, with the embankment and city centre within walking distance. We recommend it 100%.

Babbacombe Palms, a property with a bar, is set in Torquay, less than 1 km from Oddicombe Beach, 12 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse, as well as 36 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium.

Visited for the Jazz Festival as a solo traveller.. A beautiful, peaceful setting next to the Byes and a short walk into Sidmouth. The staff were super helpful , approachable, and friendly. As a solo traveller, I can sometimes feel awkward on my own, so it is great to find somewhere like this! V filling breakfast and a room overlooking the garden. Hope to be back for the next festival 😊
