The hotel and location are fantastic, plenty to see and activities to do in the area or at the hotel itself. Breakfast’s were the best we have ever had and we have been travelling internationally for 4 years in is our fourth trip to England.

Nice pub atmosphere. Staff were friendly efficient and helpful. Quality and quantity of food in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was also great.

Such a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. So accommodating. Great room and sleep and lovely breakfast. Beautiful location, just be advised that you need to book a taxi in advance as there is little phone reception and it is hard to get a taxi last minute.

I loved everything of this place: the location is sooo romantic, the river garden (a surprise, we didn't know it was there) is peace itself, the view is magical. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. The food is excellent: traditional breakfast in a cosy typical atmosphere, lovely dinner in a traditional pub atmosphere, delicious beer. The rooms are tastefully furnished in style, the bed is really comfortable and everything is functional and practical, too.
