Location was excellent for Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves visit! We could walk to a lovely (and very yummy) coffee shop each morning and a fun brew pub at night. There were other restaurants on the street, but one was having a private party and another was fully booked.
If you’re looking for super luxury travel vibe, it’s very hard to find in this area, my friend who is a pretty posh gal was a bit worried. However the Broadway Motel was IMMACULATELY clean, spacious, and very welcoming. We both were very please and highly recommend it!

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at Housewithnonails! The rooms are spacious and cosy and our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The house is a beautiful and unique place to stay and makes an excellent base to explore Matamata and the surrounding areas, or even just enjoy some down time on a busy trip. We would definitely stay here again!

Thank you for allowing us early check in in order to get ready for a wedding the afternoon we arrived. We had a 2 bedroom unit which was incredibly clean and spacious. Whilst we did not use the kitchen facilities it had everything a family would need including a really good sized dining table. Staff very helpful. Room quiet. Lovely outdoor space if you wanted to relax with a drink.
