We've had a perfect stay. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. They even addressed us by name. In the yard are two alpacas that walk around during the day. The hotel offers comprehensive services, from transportation over a fast laundry. Inside the compound is a restaurant with great food and a decent breakfast. We came here twice and would definitely stay again.

Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu.

This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.

The property is in an incredible location. The staff and the service is great: Nancy our guide, Mauricio our driver and the concierges who always helped us to find the best logistics. The fact that the Hiram Birgham train leaves directly from the hotel is a huge plus! (Avoiding the bimodal service). The garden and the rooms are amazing as well!

It was more like a brunch. Varied and very good. Its situated about a 25 walk from Urubamba city, so you basically have to call a taxi to visit the City.

Incredible value for what you get. Very charming hotel with some of the warmest staff I’ve met in Peru. Beautiful garden there for relaxing. and location wise it’s a 5min walk into the centre, which means you’re away from all of the noise of town. Highly recommend!

Really beautiful hotel, super clean, wonderful and kind staff, great restaurant, adorable alpacas on site, multiple on-site activities per day. We even booked a stargazing tour on site and it was fantastic. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Short drive to Ollantaytambo where you can get the train to Machu Picchu.

Location is top top! The fact that you can do many other activities within the hotel area was really cool! Restaurant had great food and waiters were super helpful. Really appreciated that the hotel does for local communities.

A big garden, big room, the host Tula. We just loved our stay in Ollantaytambo and in Samanapaq. So did our kids.
