Excellent! A wonderful hotel right on the banks of the Douro River. The suits are comfortable and well equipped. We were looked after by the very friendly staff - Carla, Tamiä, Silvia and the kitchen staff. Always a smile and very helpful. The hotel has been designed in a very tastefully manner and with greatest love for detail. Just beautiful! The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of freshly prepared foods and is very beautifully decorated. The picnic basket is a must! A wonderful place to unwind, relax and enjoy. We were very lucky to book this stay last minute. Lots of dates are gone long in advance. We traveled as a family of three and really enjoyed every moment of ours stay. Hospitality is at the top level! Rui is very friendly and welcoming host. The Quinta is located in amazingly beautiful and picturesque place with nice views around. Do book the dinner, it was absolutely fabulous, the dinner exceeded our expectations and it is certainly worth the price asked. Lots of nice facilities, two pools, a sauna, a gym and a paddle tennis court and beautiful surroundings. We would like to come back! Thank you, Rui and your family.
