The hotel has an excellent location in the heart of old town close to the Kalmar castle, the city park. The room was not very spacious but cosy. Bathroom OK with strong stream of the water in the shower. The staff was friendly. I will recommend you to book the parking place if you come with the rented car. The breakfast was good.

We were upgraded to a bigger room and the staff was always super nice and attentive. Everything in the breakfast basket was delicious and we loved the concept. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was really confortable, and the common areas are so beautiful that we could have stayed just reading in the garden for hours. We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and the food was good, although a bit on the pricey side. We'll be back for sure.
