We really liked the lounge chairs, giving us a place to sit in the room. Air conditioning worked fine. We would not hesitate to book here again.

Bed very comfortable after long day travelling ; air con great as very hot weather , the room was cool when we walked in . Given upgrade even better . Brilliant location for dinner and breakfast locations .

Echuca High St Motel is 10 minutes’ walk from the Murray River and the historic Port of Echuca. The Echuca Paddlesteamers are 15 minutes’ walk away. I met no staff as you are given a door code number before arrival. It may seem impersonal but it's a convenient way to get into your room quickly when you're tired and just want to rest. (A tip: record the four-digit code on your phone etc. If you don't have a perfect memory!) I was able to park right outside my front door. Everything was immaculately clean and the bed very comfy. It is close to town and the paddle boat rides, and within walking distance of some nice eateries. There's even a very pleasant cafe next door if you feel like breakfast or a snack. Although it's on a main road, I found it very quiet at night. The test of a motel is the question, would I go back there again? In this instance, definitely yes.
