Most gorgeous little pousada surrounded by lovely greenery. Owners have really put in effort to make the place eco friendly. We booked a chalet and it was beautifully decorated. And the hammock outside was a nice touch to relax after a long day ! Breakfast was good.

Our host could not have been more kind and helpful, with tons of recommendations (even loaned us snorkel gear!). Couldn’t recommend more highly!!

We booked a room at Pousada last minute after being unhappy with our previous booking. She was more than willing to accomodate us, help us out last minute and make sure that we were comfortable and welcome. It really made the whole experience amazing when she made sure to attend to our needs and find a beautiful, clean and comfortable room. She is wonderful! Thank you so much. We had a wonderful experience.

Lovely room, lovely view, the staff were all so lovely and friendly. Beautiful breakfast, location was perfect, right on the beach. Very safe, you could still walk on the beach after dark even as a single woman. I certainly wouldn’t do that in central Rio de Janeiro. Ancoradouro was very central to the shops, the many restaurants and bars. It was sooo nice and peaceful and relaxing with plenty to do at the same time!!! Thank you so much

This place was amazing! Everything about it was fantastic and the reception was extremely helpful in booking things on the island! We did the private boat tour through the hotel and highly recommend this. Absolutely would stay here again!
