The reviews mostly praised the friendliness of the staff. That was definitely a selling point. I could not agree more. The staff is excellent throughout the entire facility: polite, willing to help immediately, has a good sense of humor, and always smiles. Plus, the pousada was quiet at night for a relaxing sleep.

Everything was absolutely wonderful: location, breakfast, the room, the extra activities (yoga and meditation!) and the great staff. This was an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back to Praia das Caravelas.

The Rua das Pedras is at a 5 min walk which is perfect because you are super close of all animation, restaurants, bars and shops without being in the middle of the confusion. Pousada do Frei ligt in Búzios, op 150 meter van het strand van Geribá, op 200 meter van de Geriba-lagune en op 4 km van het strand van Armação. Very clean, good A/C, very close to the Geriba beach, nice neighborhood, nice staff and perfect breakfast
