There's a lot of greenery around, which makes the atmosphere even more relaxing. The overall structure of the hotel is excellent. Definitely a great place to stay!

Apple House is a beautiful hotel, 5 fantastic swimming pools, a great games room for our children and they loved the ice cream shop too. The restaurant has fabulous room and the breakfast is to die for, so much choice and the desserts are unreal. The staff are amazing, everyone we met walking along greats you a big smile, the stay go out of their way to do everything for you from checking in to arranging the transfers into Paraty each day and evening. Tassiana was amazing for organising the boat cruise, which was unbelievable, she really couldn’t do enough for us. Going up and beyond and awaiting when we needed some urgent laundry taken care of she arrange this for us too and also arranging a really nice transfer for us to Ilha Grande. Thank you Tassiana for everything and all the other staff at Apple House.

Located in the heart of Rio de Janeiro’s lively Barra da Tijuca district, 7 km from Barra Beach, Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro features a rooftop swimming pool offering picturesque lake views, a well-appointed fitness centre and a restaurant serving regional and international cuisine. We arrived already at 9am and they offered to check in directly with half price, which was great after the night flight - thank you!! Everything was clean, restaurant for dinner also very good. The gym was at good level too for my purposes.
