The Strand hotel in Schmerikon is situated in a fantastic location directly on Lake Zurich.

The accommodation has its own small beach, which is reserved for hotel guests only. All rooms have a view of the lake.

The restaurant and lakeside terrace are open to the public throughout the day. We serve lunch and dinner. The location on the lake is breathtaking, and the atmosphere is calm and lovely. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and beautiful an comfortable. Some of us used the sauna in the garden and alternated between it and the lake, and absolutely loved it. Dinner in the restaurant was excelent. Breakfast was everything it should be. We loved the place, and definitely be back when possible.

The room was very comfortable with an amazing balcony that gave an outstanding view of the lake a couple miles away. Nicely situated between St Gallen and the restaurants/bars along the shore of the lake. Gorgeous!

We also saw sheeps from the window! My kids were charmed and really loved it.
