Cabañas Aliwen ligt in Las Trancas in de regio Bío Bío, op 14 km van de Mirador-skilift. Het biedt een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad en een barbecue. Our stay was just perfect! The cabañas are literally next to the main road, but just enough off the road to give you an "in nature" feeling and not hear any traffic. So, very quiet and cozy! The area itself is very spacious, with a playground for kids, horses and a laguna. The owner was very friendly: we received information how to get there beforehand, and he even heated up the cabañas for us! The weather was really cold during our stay, but the oven heated up the cabaña very nicely- we didn't freeze when it was -2°C outside. Beds are comfy and kitchen was well equipped. Also, we had cellphone reception there.
