Het Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol is een luxe resort met rechtstreeks toegang tot het mediterrane strand. We booked a Superior room with sea view, and on check-in, got a free upgrade to a Junior suite with sea view and private pool! It was beyond fantastic! Breakfast was awesome, especially the seating outside. All the staff are super welcoming, polite, and helpful. The whole resort is super clean and well-maintained. The car parking is always available, and the hotel staff is always on hand to take your car to and from the garage. All in all, it was a superb experience. We will return for sure.

This luxury hotel is located on the beachfront of Limassol Town in Cyprus, just 5 km from the archaeological site of Amathus. Wij zijn in vele hotels geweest en met name 5 sterren maar zoals de service en vriendelijkheid van Apollonia hebben we nog niet eerder gezien. Bij aankomst tot uitchecken werden wij super geholpen en bediend. Als er dan eens een foutje werd gemaakt werd dit zeer snel rechtgezet. Roomservice is zeer goed net als het ontbijt buffet en avond buffet. Veel variatie en een enorme keuze aan heerlijk eten. Spa en zwembad zijn zeer schoon en erg relax qua opzet, de zonbedden liggen perfect en comfortabel met direct toegang tot het strand. Met de liften ben je snel op de, voor ons 5e, verdieping en ben je door de lange gang zo bij je kamer. De kamers zijn allemaal even groot waarbij je kan kiezen uit stad of zeezicht. Wij waren blij met de keuze van zeezicht en genoten elk moment dat we op het ruime balkon gebruik maakten van de stoelen. De badkamer was ruim met bubbelbad en douche en genoeg shampoo, bodywash, conditioner en bodylotion. Kamer word elke dag schoongemaakt door zeer vriendelijke huishouding die altijd wel een leuke gesprek met je willen. Uiteraard houdt ook dit hotel rekening met het milieu. Al met al een zeer goed hotel wat absoluut de moeite waard is om te bezoeken al is het alleen maar om te ontdekken hoe superieur de service hier is.

We arrived in the afternoon and were warmly welcomed with a lit fireplace and a glass of hot wine — a perfect and comforting start after our journey. The guesthouse has a small, intimate spa, which was exactly what we needed to relax after a long drive on our flight day. It added a deep sense of calm and care to the stay. The breakfast was excellent, made with fresh, high-quality local ingredients. It was served as a buffet by the pool, accompanied by the soothing sounds of flowing water and birdsong. Beautiful, unique trees and well-maintained gardens surround the area — beauty and tranquility in every direction. The atmosphere felt truly healing. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the private balcony was an absolute pleasure — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We stayed for only one night, but the experience was unforgettable. The village itself is one of the most beautiful in Cyprus, and this guesthouse is simply magical. Tastefully designed, elegant without being overdone, and full of charm. We visited in winter, which made the stay especially peaceful and quiet. The food was delicious, communication was pleasant and attentive, and walking through the village felt almost legendary. Wonderful service, warm-hearted staff, and an overall exceptional experience. We wholeheartedly recommend Apokryfo Traditional Guesthouse.

The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. They even assisted before check in which made the trip stress and worry free. The frontdesk/reception made check-in effortless.
