In a lovely remote area. In the morning when we were leaving staff were on site and very polite.

Beautiful hotel, very kind and efficient staff, very good breakfast and excellent restaurant, very good position near the harbour and Karen Blixen museum, the sea just in front. Coffee, tea and water complimentary in nice areas of the hotel at any time.

The fireplace room offers access to the large private furnished garden. Such a charming and intimate place! With quirky, personal touches sprinkled throughout. We felt very much at home at Hornbækhus, and enjoyed exploring each of the nooks and crannies it had to offer. We partook in the community dinner, which was fun and delicious, and breakfast was nice as well (keep in mind, it's not a buffet - you order from a menu). Our room felt very cozy, however the real charm was coming out of the room and reading a book or enjoying a cocktail in the "living room" and going on long walks along the beach close by.

Overlooking a lake and Øresund Strait in the seaside town of Hornbæk, this classic hotel features a lake-view restaurant and a lobby bar. Free WiFi is available. Hornbæk Station is just a 2-minute walk away. The staff was lovely...or maybe more. The position amazing ( 5 minutes walking from the see, the supermarket was on the corner...). The terrace is in front of the like and when the sun goes down the atmosphere is unbelievable. The kitchen was Amazing, I would define "bistronomie", Between a bistrot and Michelin star.. AMAZING!
